We're Not Experts
We’re Not Experts is a podcast hosted by two guys who’ve somehow survived 15+ years of friendship and now think that qualifies them to talk into microphones. We’re average early 30’s dudes with very strong opinions and very average credentials—which is exactly the point.
We’re sports ethicists in the loosest sense of the term, breaking down the morals, madness, and mayhem of a wide variety of sports… but let’s be honest: football will absolutely hijack the conversation. We can talk about other sports. We just won’t stop talking about football.
Expect passionate debates, hot takes that cool off immediately, arguments that go nowhere, and the occasional moment of clarity that surprises everyone—including them. Stats may appear. Logic might leave the room. Confidence will always be high.
We’re not analysts. We’re not insiders. We’re definitely not experts.
We’re just two longtime friends talking sports the way most people do—too confidently, for too long, and with absolutely no credentials to back it up.
We’re Not Experts — and neither are you, so you’ll fit right in.

No real agenda, no one topic taking over, just two guys talking shit and somehow covering a little bit of everything. Football, random takes, arguments, and whatever else came up. You know how WNE goes.
Episode thirty nine. W N E We're Not Experts. I'm Raleigh Jones. That's Justin Butler. Once again, we are back in the cave. We are back in the theoretical cave. It's not a real one. It's not real. But we have a dream.
SPEAKER_01One day. One of us has two dreams.
SPEAKER_04We'll have Starlink in a cave recording a podcast.
SPEAKER_01We're gonna own the cave. Yeah. Haven't figured out how to do that. We might have to make the cave. Like just get a just get find a way to just get a very massive rock. We have to get pretty rich to get a cave, right? I mean, we can just do a small cave.
SPEAKER_04Like if you find a property with a cave on it, like there's a good chance that that's gonna be pretty expensive.
SPEAKER_01What if they don't know it's there?
SPEAKER_04We're gonna have to do some searching.
SPEAKER_01They would know it's there.
SPEAKER_04We don't have a ton to talk about today, but that's actually not bad news because if we had a lot to talk about today, then the season starts on Wednesday of next week, and that would mean that there'd probably be a bunch of injuries or something like that.
SPEAKER_01Or a lot of people crashing out, which can be entertaining.
SPEAKER_04That's true. We got neither. I think we got some like last minute news from the Bears specifically. But first, we're gonna talk about Michael Wilson, aka wide receiver one in Arizona.
SPEAKER_01It's actually kind of hurtful.
SPEAKER_0475 mil.
SPEAKER_01I didn't like it.
SPEAKER_0447 guaranteed for three years. I think with like max incentives up to 78 million dollars. Shout out Michael Wilson. He's a shade under Alec Pierce.
SPEAKER_01I mean, we're talking like five million dollars. I think it was he got the deal that Alec Pierce should have got. Who's better? I'm gonna take well, hold on. I think you're the one that should be at a crosswords, crossroads here. It's funny because before last year. I'm gonna say Alec Pierce.
SPEAKER_04Before last year, they were both just absolute, I mean, cardio specialists.
SPEAKER_02Right? Just a whole lot of people.
SPEAKER_04Mike Wilson turned into Jerry Rice when Marv wasn't there. And Alec Pierce has sh, you know, there's he's a lot, he's real white. He's pale. You know who your reminds me of?
SPEAKER_01You feel a little bit better about the longest continuation for Michael Wilson.
SPEAKER_04Drew Bennett. Drew Bennett was tall, right? He was like 6'5. He was Drew Bennett Bennett was nice. He was a dog. He was a dog.
SPEAKER_01I don't know. I don't know if that really like stacks up like player comp wise.
SPEAKER_04I don't even know what Drew Bennett is.
SPEAKER_01I feel like Drew Bennett literally had a little bit more of a bag.
SPEAKER_04Like we're gonna see Alec Pierce's bag because he's gonna be there week one. He's back. He's gonna be there something. Mike Wilson will be there week one too, as wide receiver one.
SPEAKER_01Well, the wide receiver one is disguised as a tight end because Trey McBride's still the number one. Guess who's making more money than Trey McBride? He's also making more money than Jameer Gibbs and B. John Robinson. Yeah. And that's what I don't like. I think the thing that pisses me off about deals like that is you talk about positional value and the shelf life of a running back, et cetera, et cetera. If you're paying a 24, 25-year-old running back that kind of money, I would feel much better like pay him, pay him on the same level. When you're telling me you look at B. John Robinson's productions and Michael Wilson's productions, and you tell me, okay, man, he was at a Jerry Rice pace. Okay, that's fine. He had 78 receptions and a thousand and two yards last year. Right. Bijan Robinson had 79 catches at 802 yards. But he also gave you like 1,400 rushing yards or something like that. Or 1,200 rushing yards, something like that. So you're talking about somebody that is giving you 1,800, 1,900 yards total, and oh my gosh, why would you pay him $25 million a year and Michael Wilson gets $25 million a year?
SPEAKER_04And we're like, I mean, that's kind of cheap. Hey, no wonder, no wonder Parker Washington wants to call a shot.
SPEAKER_01He wants to get a bag.
SPEAKER_04Because if he if if he goes crazy this year and he hits the open market, he's gonna get a bag paid.
SPEAKER_01And it's ridiculous. 30 plus million dollars a year, probably. He like Michael Wilson really just got a bag off of like an eight-game run. Hey man, shout out to he is and but and one of my I feel like part of it is skewed because like there was a was it like a two or three game stretch down the rest of the season where Marv was literally just out there hurt running with running cardio as a decoy and got like not even I don't even think my man got a target over the last like two or three games of the season.
SPEAKER_02He said he needed to get in shape.
SPEAKER_01He needed to get in, he needed to know what it was like to block somebody and or or like just run a wasted route.
SPEAKER_04I if Michael Wilson, he you know what, he's another person I would have probably advised to like, I don't know, he got a large sum of money. He's a found he is a new member of the BCA.
SPEAKER_01Shout out to him. Look, you are a Jacoby Brissett fan.
SPEAKER_04I mean, yeah, he's gonna give him the pill. So if he throws the ball, they won't throw the ball as much as they're gonna be.
SPEAKER_01The streets are saying that Marv is is looking good so far. Yeah. The streets are. Let's just say you got Jerry Rice, you've got Marv, you know, coming into his own, and you've got arguably the best tight end in football.
SPEAKER_04I here's the problem.
SPEAKER_01Jeremiah Love.
SPEAKER_04Look, that right there is the reason that it can't all work. Somebody's gonna be left unhappy, and it's just off the fact that it's gonna be my guy.
SPEAKER_00It's gonna be Marf.
SPEAKER_04I I don't know who it's gonna be. It is more likely to be Marf now because they just paid Michael Wilson and Trey McBride also got a bag what last year.
SPEAKER_01So if I'm the Arizona Cardinals, I'm just gonna go ahead and get get ahead of this so that way I can say I was early when it happens. If Michael Wilson is the guy in Arizona and he's putting up, you know, stats that match his contract, and Marv is still having a down, like, you know, not being what anybody thought he would be. You gotta get rid of him at the deadline for something, right? Like, do you trade him at the deadline? Take him somewhere else, like get his little second chance. Right. His value's gonna have to be gone at that point.
SPEAKER_02It would be tank.
SPEAKER_01But it's like you're not gonna pay him. You would expect it to go into the next year and be like, oh, this guy's out of here after this year, he's not gonna be involved, like, he's gonna have to go to free agency, yada yada, yada. I feel like if if McBride and Wilson are g are like both playing at a high level and Marv's kind of the odd man out, you might as well get rid of them, give him another chance somewhere else. Yeah, like get him somewhere like San Francisco or or in Sean McVay in LA.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Or uh Kansas City.
SPEAKER_01Get them somewhere with a with a fucking quarterback.
SPEAKER_04I uh yeah, the whole reason it's not gonna work for all three is because you're paying a running back guaranteed fifty million dollars. You're paying now Michael Wilson.
SPEAKER_01You're also paying James Connors.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, that's tough.
SPEAKER_01Tyler Algier.
SPEAKER_04But you're paying, you know, you're paying Trey McBride, and they were on pace for like something. Like Jacoby Rissette was on pace for like 800 and something pass attempts last year. Like, that's just not gonna happen. You're gonna have to, you gotta feed, you have to feed Jeremiah Love. They were slinging it. Yeah, like they're fucked, but they had fucking Bam Knight and Amari D. Marcado. Of course they were slinging it.
SPEAKER_01Hey, they were absolutely decimated by injuries. That is true.
SPEAKER_04And their offense was, you know, like this isn't talked about enough, but like there's also a chance to where they're just like this offense feeds families. Look, have we been looking at the Cardinals wrong? Like, no, I don't think they're gonna be good. You don't think that there's a chance? No. Unless Carson Beck's like the next coming. No, no, no. They're probably not gonna be very good.
SPEAKER_01I don't think so either, but I just feel like for some reason the offense could be good. Bro, what if the defense is better than you expect? That's the thing about the NFL, is you literally going into a season you never I think the only thing that we're for sure is the Dolphins are gonna be the worst team of the league.
SPEAKER_04I uh you're right. Like, their defense could be better. Maybe Walter Nolan's Aaron Donald. Will Johnson turns into Pat Sartan. Mac Wilson Sr. is right, and everybody should be worried about them.
SPEAKER_01It's on the board. It's not there's a reason why they've been saying this. It's just Mars back, Michael Wilson's paid.
SPEAKER_04This is what you're doing.
SPEAKER_01Jeremiah Will might not be here week one, though.
SPEAKER_04That's all right. Said it's up in the air. You got Tyler Algier. And James Conner. No, he's not out. He's not back. No, it'll be Tyler Algier.
SPEAKER_01They're gonna find a way to get Trey Benson off IR.
SPEAKER_04He is released.
SPEAKER_01No, you didn't he like clear waivers and they like went back to their like IR. Yeah, they they cut on him.
SPEAKER_00They waved him and he went back to go and be on IR.
SPEAKER_04I didn't keep up with it, but I was really hoping he'd get picked up by somebody like the Lions or something. Like, you know, like they got a guy, they got a guy I've never even heard of as their backpackers.
SPEAKER_01They're two back running backs combined, have like seven career carries.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, like you could have picked up Trey Benson. Jameer Gibbs goes down. That guy's probably a league winner in Trey Benson.
SPEAKER_01Look, I will say, if that's what they're rolling with, oh my God. I need to change my offensive player of the year pick to Jameer Gibbs because there's no way I'm not taking a chance running the ball with anybody else. Like, I'm just like, look, we need to give him a break. Okay, cool. He's got us down the field, but he's gonna block or something.
SPEAKER_04If he stays healthy, he's gonna also feed families.
SPEAKER_01But that offense is bad. I feel like the Lions might be back this year.
SPEAKER_04I agree.
SPEAKER_02I'm gonna be able to do that.
SPEAKER_01I've been seeing some lists, I've been seeing some lists that people are putting out here talking about is George Pickens a top wide five wide receiver and shit, and people are like, oh no, he's not, and they're throwing out their top five lists and Amon Rosing like none of them, and I hate that.
SPEAKER_04It won't make you feel good that there's a bunch of people that feel like J-Mo's gonna lead the team in receiving yards. That's just unbelievable.
SPEAKER_01Look, as crazy as it might sound, I don't it's not gonna be unless it's gonna be in a world where it's just like okay, now that they're not gonna there's no way they're gonna be running the ball with those fucking backups as much as they were. So if they're passing the ball more and J-Mo's it's a world where they're you know, J-Mo's at 1700 and Amon Rah's at 15 or 1400. Bro, I don't I just don't see it.
SPEAKER_04I'm not saying, like, I wouldn't say it's impossible. Bro, Amon Ross St. Brown is so sick. He's sick. He's super sick. He just gets so much volume. He doesn't get the love he deserves. I think that's what bothers you the most.
SPEAKER_01Well, everybody treats him like I feel like people talk about him in the sense of like in comparison about him in the slot compared to like Michael Thomas on slant routes. Like, who gives a fuck that he's just a slot guy primarily? It's not like we don't see him in this play, like he's not a go get a 70R bomb. That's not his game. Like, I like players that death by a million cuts.
SPEAKER_04You act like that's never happened. Like it's happened. Like it has.
SPEAKER_01No, I'm not the one that are saying these things. Like, I just you look at I'm in Ross St. Brown, and it's just like there's really just not much that he can't do. He blocks. Yeah, like he does. He's all like pretty durable. Yeah, durable. Even when he's banged up, plays.
SPEAKER_04Like he's like saved me.
SPEAKER_01Saved me in the playoffs, came in through when he got that injured and played. And still produced.
SPEAKER_04And he's always been pretty durable.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_04I mean, that just the Lions offense has a chance to be lethal. Top five, top three, and number one.
SPEAKER_01I just worry about Laporta.
SPEAKER_04It's not like Laporta's the difference maker.
SPEAKER_01It's not, but it but it makes their offense so much better.
SPEAKER_04Like the true difference maker probably is JMO.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_01Like he's the one that can like set the office.
SPEAKER_04Man, huge.
SPEAKER_01And that's I think what makes it so is they're all like explosive. Like, I think that's the thing. When you look at it, Gibbs, obviously, he's got the running ability that he can just take any play to 50, 60, 70 yards.
SPEAKER_04Same with J-Mo.
SPEAKER_01JMO has that ability. And then while you've got to you've got to be able to contain the explosiveness of those two, and then you've got Amon Ra moving the chains.
SPEAKER_04With he's also, he can still be explosive as well.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I mean, here's the thing. He might not get a 70-yard bomb, but he's gonna get you a 35. Yeah. He's gonna get you two, three 20-yard catches. Yeah. 15, 20 yards. Like, he's gonna get there. He's and he's he's gonna get you short routes. Like, you've got a security blanket in him. Like, there's just no way. I saw his line for for receptions this year. We're I was gonna talk about this later, but since we're talking about, I'm just gonna say it now. I love it.
SPEAKER_04What is it?
SPEAKER_0199 and a half.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I'd probably take that. I'd probably take the over.
SPEAKER_01Bro, it hasn't missed. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Since he was a real I don't even think I think it's I don't even think he's I think the only way he doesn't get over a hundred catches is if he gets hurt? Yeah, that's it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. I don't I don't and we have no evidence to think that.
SPEAKER_04He's a key cog.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Like he sees, he will see probably 10 plus targets a game. I mean, his target market share in that offense is probably 20 plus percent.
SPEAKER_01And he's got great chemistry with Goff.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. But there's just not a world where like he doesn't like there's a world where Jared Goff comes out here and he's 4,540 this year.
SPEAKER_01Bro, I think I feel like now it's like if you look at the past like five years or four years or something like that, like Jared Goff has the most passive touchdowns in the league.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. I mean, and if I don't haven't looked at their schedule, and that's what and a lot of people say this, bro.
SPEAKER_01Like, people disrespect Goff.
SPEAKER_04If well, look, hey, if the schedule's dome heavy, if the schedule's dome heavy, Jared Goff is gonna be a menace. Bro, I don't I don't I don't catch my boy in the elements, though. He's got small hands. He just just the elements are not his forte.
SPEAKER_01It's not conducive for people with small hands.
SPEAKER_04Man, well, it was you know, Kenny Pickett could play in an arena football league and it wouldn't be good for him.
SPEAKER_01Well, he's also terrible. He's awful. But but I like Goff. Yeah, like I said, like I mean, you look at you look at his stats and what he's done and how he's played, like, he's been a top five quarterback in the in the NFL over the last three years.
SPEAKER_04Speaking of quarterbacks, let's so I don't I'm not a hundred percent sold that this report is uh is true, but the CJ Stroud and the Texans were having com track talks, and they had offered I think it was like over fifty million a year annually, and he he basically said he was gonna bet on himself. How do you feel about that?
SPEAKER_01He's gonna lose that bet.
SPEAKER_04I I don't know if it's true. I I don't. It was reported by a journalist. I can't remember, Brussels.
SPEAKER_01Man, we talk we talk a lot of shit about CJ Stroud, but I mean it's not like he's like a bottom five quarterback in the NFL. No. You know, but is he they shouldn't necessarily be wanting to move on from him. The problem is, is like the cost of not being able of like you have to pay your quarterback that.
SPEAKER_0460 mil?
SPEAKER_01Like, I mean, that's gonna one one the cap's going up. But if you have a quarterback that's not terrible, you have to pay it. You have to pay your quarterback.
SPEAKER_04The only way he's the going rate of it, the only way he sees, yeah, but that's like saying you would pay Bryce Young.
SPEAKER_01I wouldn't. I wouldn't pay him that much money. But they're the pa the the Panthers are either going to pay Bryce Young 50 million plus or they're not gonna pay him.
SPEAKER_04I wouldn't I wouldn't do it. Anyways, I mean the only way, the only way CJ Stroud sees this money. I mean, it's gotta be it's gotta be Super Bowl or a crushing AFC championship loss. Yeah. Like if you go to the divisional round, that's not enough.
SPEAKER_01And even then, and here's the thing, let's just say he has a you know, maybe like a top 15, 14 quarterback year regular season-wise, and then shits the bed in the playoffs, they'll probably just franchise tag. Well, they're just gonna pick up his fifth-year option anyway. So he's got one more year, right?
SPEAKER_04I would do that. Yeah, like I would do that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so they'll just pick him up, and if he has another one of those average years, they'll probably franchise tag him. Well, they'll actually say that. They're gonna pay him, they're gonna end up paying him. And like I said last time we talked, their window's gonna close.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. You know Michael Wilson's making more money than Nico Collins.
SPEAKER_01Crazy.
SPEAKER_04Is he a better wide receiver than Nico? No. Okay. No, he's not. I just I just thought that was crazy, too.
SPEAKER_01I'm not big on Michael Wilson.
SPEAKER_04I don't know. Well heck.
SPEAKER_01All you can tell me before before the Jerry Rice run. Tell me something about Michael Wilson that you liked before he went on a Jerry Rice-esque run.
SPEAKER_04His wife. He's uh Sophia. Damn, what was her last name before it was Wilson? It's Sophia Wilson now. She plays on the the U.S. women's soccer team.
SPEAKER_01Oh, okay, cool. That's not a his wife. Right. That's not him.
SPEAKER_04They're gonna have a little athlete. I'll say that.
SPEAKER_01They should name him Jerry. Michael Wilson, if you hear this pod, I don't mean to disrespect you.
SPEAKER_04The baby's already born. I believe the baby already has a name.
SPEAKER_01Too late. It's not too late to go to the court and change it. Just just saying. In honor of your Jerry Rice run.
SPEAKER_04I back to CJ Stroud, though, brother. I uh you just saved the Houston Texans by betting on yourself.
SPEAKER_01And who's to say he's not gonna be wrong?
SPEAKER_04You know, so you you kept the window open. They're gonna be able to move on because you are gonna shoot the bed. Allegedly. I don't know. I used to like CJ Stroud. You remember his rookie year?
SPEAKER_01I was a bit well, I remember the draft when I was excited thinking the Titans are about to trade up to get CJ Stroud. Thank God. And buddy, I looked right after a year, and I mean it's like like like again, it's not that he's been terrible. He just hasn't been good. His highlights are high, buddy. Yeah, but man. Dude, his highlights are then you get to the playoffs. Man, and then you know when it all started going bad seven turnovers and he lost Tank Dell, and that was when it all went down. Yeah, well, he killed them. He killed him, and it changed his psyche. Man, he took his best friend out.
SPEAKER_04Dude, no, legitimately, like when he had Tank Dell. Tank Dell was nice. He was going crazy. It's just one of those. CJ Stroud was having games.
SPEAKER_01He threw him a hospital ball.
SPEAKER_04It's tough. I mean, Peyton Manning threw a bunch of hospital balls too, though. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_01That is true, but he wasn't, you know, it ain't too many of them there. What is Tank Dell? Like 5'10, 100 a buck eighty?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, something like that. Not big enough to die.
SPEAKER_01He shouldn't have been, he shouldn't have been in that position.
SPEAKER_04He's out there getting.
SPEAKER_01Bro, he's 5'10 at 165.
SPEAKER_04Oh my god, he's 160.
SPEAKER_01Could you imagine me on the football field? He's 165 pounds. Which granted, his is more muscle. But I'm 5'10 and 165 ish pounds. Okay.
SPEAKER_00What do you think me on the football field? What would happen?
SPEAKER_04This makes me think about when you said you could get five yards.
SPEAKER_00I ain't running a slant over the middle, big dog. I ain't doing that. I take my chances with the five.
SPEAKER_01Oh man. I don't want to bring that back because you're going to make me hot, disrespecting my athletic ability.
SPEAKER_04I didn't say that you weren't athletic. I said that you couldn't get a yard.
SPEAKER_01We know for sure you you probably wouldn't get a yard. Like you would break your ankle.
SPEAKER_04Like I'm going to stand a better chance getting hit.
SPEAKER_01It don't fucking matter, bro. Yeah, but I'm going to have a much better chance at like getting to a spot where there's a hole.
SPEAKER_04You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_01Bro, you're going to, as soon as the ball snapped, you're going to take a step and break your ankle.
SPEAKER_04Like that's not true.
SPEAKER_01You're the most unathletic person I've ever met.
SPEAKER_04That's also not true.
SPEAKER_01How many times, how many times on your body?
SPEAKER_04I work with the dude that is like, you know, he's got a little bit of the tism. And I know he's not athletic. Okay. I'm way more athletic than that motherfucker ever was.
SPEAKER_01That's fine. But look what you had to say.
SPEAKER_04You had to bring up a I'm just, I was just naming a person.
SPEAKER_01But how many times outside have you played a pickup game of basketball and not hurt your ankle? Yeah, like it's. I can hop in the archives and probably find a hundred pictures of you with a swollen ankle on different occasions. That's all right, man. Just means I was going hard.
SPEAKER_04Ask me my stats before the ankle roll. Half a shot attempt. Like sh like two dribbles. Me bounds.
SPEAKER_00They went Angel Reese. Is that your player, Con? Angel Reese?
SPEAKER_02Jesus. I'm a way better shooter. Way better. Way better.
SPEAKER_01I don't know, man. Angel Reese might be a better three-point shooter than she is in the in the paint.
SPEAKER_04That's God. Jesus. I don't. Do you have any more NFL news?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, bro. What do you do?
SPEAKER_04You do?
SPEAKER_01We've got all kinds of news, bro.
SPEAKER_04Alright. Tell me. Um I'm not I'm not in. We're coming off a long day today.
SPEAKER_01Well, the the we didn't never talked about the Seahawks getting sold for 9.6 billion.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. I uh the Seahawks got sold for 9.6 billion.
SPEAKER_01That's a lot of money.
SPEAKER_04That that is a lot of money.
SPEAKER_01How much do you think the Cowboys would sell for? Like 20. A lot. It'd have to be 20, right? It's the Cowboys.
SPEAKER_04Jerry's never gonna be able to do that.
SPEAKER_01I do have a question as far as a little preview of the game. Alright. So the 49ers, I believe, have already flown out to Australia.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And uh the Rams are flying out the day before.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. So the thought process is so there's teams that do this in the London game and all the other international games.
SPEAKER_01Unless you're Jacksonville, they go out there and they're there for three weeks.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. That's their second home. But so the thought process is if your body, I believe it is like if your body doesn't have time to adjust, that it's just like another normal day. Like I think I think that it's like they'll fly out there conscious of the time, like hoping to land at like what would be a time that maybe they sleep or something, then they go and they sleep, and they get up and they go and play the game.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but that's a long flight.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, it's like 20 plus hours. Fuck. Yeah, I I don't know. So look, and when you're flying to London, I think it's only like eight hours or so.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's not terrible. I wouldn't do it, but it's not terrible.
SPEAKER_04I don't know. Like, I've never flown that far, so I don't even know remotely what that blows to your body. Right. Jet lag is 100% a real thing.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I just feel like you would want to do that.
SPEAKER_04There's ways to get rid of jet lag, though. Like there's you know, like there's different like medications you could take that could help it. There's also like rigorous exercise that helps jet lag.
SPEAKER_01Like I don't know. I just feel like a lot more often than not when we watch the overseas games, it's a pretty shit product.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Part of the better matchups.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. See, that's part of the problem with the overseas games, is it's not like they sit over here and give us the greatest matchups. Like, okay, we are getting a good matchup for this game. There's a couple problems with it, though. One, it's in fucking Australia. Yeah. Like it's a 20-plus hour flight to get there. One team's not getting there until the day before, one's flying out a week before. It should be interesting to see who looks like the fresher team. But this is the one good matchup, but it comes in week one, which is a crapshoot. You know, these teams are, you know, like there's a good chance that we get a good 10 to 10.
SPEAKER_01I don't like that we start out with like a it's a it's a rivalry game. Like I hate, I also hate that the fact that you're really essentially taking the crowd out of it.
SPEAKER_04Right. The crowds out of it. Well, I mean, if it was in LA, it would just be in San Francisco. Like, but regardless, I hate the fact that a team loses a home game. I hate that. I hate it for every team, too.
SPEAKER_01Or yeah, that's true.
SPEAKER_04You know what I'm saying? Especially like I don't know who the home team is supposed to be. I think it's the Rams. But if it was the 49ers, like that's a significant loss for them, losing a home game. Like their crowds electric.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Like they always have a good home field advantage. Like it's you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and I I feel like in a game and a matchup like that, when you take in all of that stuff in consideration, it's kind of weird. Yeah, you got a week a week one game, a rivalry, like an intense rivalry game overseas.
SPEAKER_04I don't think we ever talked about this, but I mean, Roger Goodell came out and said maybe like a month or so ago that there was for sure gonna be teams in Europe. I hate that in the future. I fucking hate that. Oh, I mean, yeah, I do. I'd be pissed. I think that we both hate, I think everybody hates it that I've seen.
SPEAKER_01I'd rather them just expand in Canada.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Or Mexico.
SPEAKER_04Right. And I'm not even the biggest fan of that.
SPEAKER_01I mean neither. One, here's the thing. It's it's an American sport, right?
SPEAKER_04Why not just start like NFL US?
SPEAKER_01Like, I feel like part of it is those fans turn out the way that they do, and it's so big over there in their country because of the scarcity of it.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, but a lot of it is just Americans traveling over there to watch the game.
SPEAKER_01That is true for the experience.
SPEAKER_04Right.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_04It's just like something that they travel for.
SPEAKER_01But yeah, so like, which granted, I will say this in other sports, like their soccer, soccer fans, insane. So their fan bases would probably be hardcore there, but who the fuck's gonna like half the season they're gonna be flying across the country? It wouldn't make sense, and then there's a team every other week essentially flying across seas to go see, like logistically, it just doesn't make sense, terrible, and it's too much, like it's too much.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, like it's America's already big enough. Like, if you're going coast to coast, it's five plus hours.
SPEAKER_01Especially when if you're going to expand in the NFL, like I feel like there are cities in America that you can still go into.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, and there's like already metrics about teams that fly to the East Coast.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, like and that though, like going east to west, yeah, never works. Never works, like it it always favors the West Coast team more often than not. So it's just like we have that data. And that's just what, three hours? Yeah, like what the fuck is eight gonna do?
SPEAKER_04Like we have the data that shows that it can be a statistical advantage for the home team on the West Coast or the away team on the East Coast. We love that for gambling purposes, right? But I'm saying, like, I don't I don't want it to factor in. Yeah, no, like at the at that point it'd be overboard. Like, I don't want it to factor in week to week. It doesn't factor in week to week for the NFL. Like the NFL does a decent job of travel schedules.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And it would just be too much. The Titans travel like the third least miles this year.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, it's clutch. It's huge.
SPEAKER_01That's yeah, that's legitimate. It's huge. I mean, it'd be even better for like a good team. Right. But for the Titans still, like, you know, we'll take that into play.
SPEAKER_04Saw a dude on Twitter said the Titans are gonna finish one and sixteen.
SPEAKER_01That's insane. What are we gonna win week one against the Jets? Is that the game that he picked? I uh I just don't think that the Titans are gonna be that bad. I hope not. I feel like we're building something. I hope not. I guess the last thing that to that I'll at least want to talk about that I have on the docket is did you see the top 10 for the NFL top 100?
SPEAKER_04I saw that Miles Garrett was number one.
SPEAKER_01That was all you saw. That's it. Alright, you're gonna go 10-1. Yeah. Well, see, I want you to tell me who who surprises you. Because I got a couple. One really big one. Number 10 is Pat Sertan. Okay. 14 games played, 47 tackles, 12 pass defense, only one interception. That's a fucking lockdown, though. There's a reason why. It's pretty impressive. He deserves to be there. Yeah, for sure. Best corner in the league. Number nine was Jameer Gibbs.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_011,200 rushing yards, 616 receptions, 18 total touchdowns.
SPEAKER_04Seems good to me.
SPEAKER_01This just shows how sweet.
SPEAKER_04Is this voted by the players? Yes. Okay.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Micah Parsons at eight, 14 games, 12.5 sacks, 12 tackle for loss, two force fumbles, 27 quarterback hits. He was really going crazy.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, no, I mean that I get it.
SPEAKER_01Sevens Puka Nakua. 16 games, 1,700 yards, 10 tutties, 129 receptions. Right. Number six, Christian McCaffrey. 1,200 rushing yards, 10 touchdowns, 102 receptions, 924 receiving yards, 7 touchdowns.
SPEAKER_03He's a cheat code. He's a cheat code.
SPEAKER_01Jesus Christ, bro. He's a cheat code. And here's the thing you know who's making more money than him? Michael Wilson. I get it. Positional value, dog. Yeah. Imagine. He literally had 80, he had 80 less receptions or 80 less receiving yards than Michael Wilson. 30, almost 30 more catches and 1,200 more rushing yards. And he makes like $4 billion less.
SPEAKER_04Well, I mean, he's trying to make more. His calf is tight.
SPEAKER_01Hey, he's out there. Bank account's getting tight. He needs to spend some more money. Who's at five? Number five, JSN. Okay. From unranked to number five. What a jump. I mean, MVP 119 receptions, 17, 193 yards, 10 touchdowns.
SPEAKER_04He's sick.
SPEAKER_01Had a great year. Absolute dog. Four. MVP Matthew Stafford, 4,700 yards, 46 tuds, 8 picks. They'd have seven fumbles.
SPEAKER_04Okay.
SPEAKER_01Number three, B. John Robinson, 1,478 rushing yards, 7 rushing touchdowns, 820 receiving yards, four touchdowns.
SPEAKER_04Okay. You're telling me Bijan is that much better than Jameer Gibbs?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, he had like seven less touchdowns, but he did have about four or five hundred more yards.
SPEAKER_04It's gonna continue to be like that, though.
SPEAKER_01I I don't even the yards not is like it feels like it feels like Gibbs had more yards than what he did.
SPEAKER_04I just like Bijan, especially playing in Atlanta with Tua or Michael Penix. Like Tua might be the first quarterback to ever lose the starting job by the other person not playing. Like they didn't get a chance to see Michael Penix, but they're like, it can't be that bad.
SPEAKER_01Man, I feel like Penix had like a It was bad.
SPEAKER_04I don't know if you've went back and watched any of what he did last year. He was not good.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Like he wasn't great.
SPEAKER_01Man, but the year before he showed some promise.
SPEAKER_04So did Will.
SPEAKER_01He just had bad coaching, man. He had bad coaching. I uh it was a bad situation they had him in. I don't like Michael Penix. I mean, I I didn't like the fact that they drafted him number eight.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Reach.
SPEAKER_01Finishing finishing out the top 10 real quick. Josh Allen at two, 3,683 yards, 25 touchdowns, 10 picks, 579, 14 rush touchdowns. And then number one, Miles Garrett, of course, 60 tackles. Oh my God, bro. 33 tackles for loss. 23 sacks, 39 quarterback hits.
SPEAKER_04If he even gets remotely to those numbers in LA, they're gonna be Jesus Christ. It's gonna be a cheat code.
SPEAKER_01Hey, you got him in you got him as your defense in fantasy, too.
SPEAKER_04I do. I don't love having to have a defense at all.
SPEAKER_01Shout out to me. But because you have a defense, wouldn't you wouldn't you rather have the best defense than just some random defense that you decided to take in the 16th round?
SPEAKER_04I just hate the fact that defenses are juiced in this league, too.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that I hate that. That's terrible. Like the fact that in this league that your defense is just as valuable as the quarterback and more than like that's your number one.
SPEAKER_04It's so stupid.
SPEAKER_01But I mean, hey, if they're gonna give you a free 20 points a game with your defense.
SPEAKER_04Money's money. Money's money.
SPEAKER_01Right. You just look, you took advantage of a situation.
SPEAKER_04So what is what was your big grief with this top 10?
SPEAKER_01I didn't necessarily have any like griefs. I just wonder more so you have any surprises.
SPEAKER_04My first one was Bijan at three and Gibbs at nine.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_04That's really the only thing that I would say. And I'm not even saying that Gibbs should be three and Bichon should be nine.
SPEAKER_01No. I feel like if you just base it off of last year and their production, I'm taking Christian McCaffrey over Bijan.
SPEAKER_04Here's a here's a hot take. Maybe put McCaffrey at nine, Gibbs at five. Or Gibbs at three and Bijan at five and McCaffrey at nine.
SPEAKER_01So you think you think Gibbs is better than Bijan.
SPEAKER_04I think Yeah, I do. I uh well maybe I'd like to know why. If you just put like if you just swapped him, uh Bichon would be better.
SPEAKER_01Oh my god. Brother. I feel like if you put Bichon in that offense.
SPEAKER_04He's just a freak of nature though, too. Like he's bigger, like he's stronger.
SPEAKER_01Well, I just feel I feel like the thing when people compare Bichon to Gibbs, I think the thing that people really just say that makes him better is just the explosiveness that Gibbs has.
SPEAKER_04It's like when we talk like wide receivers the most. Like that's where we that's where the tiers quarterbacks do, really. But like those two are in a tier of their of their own.
SPEAKER_01Those three.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Because CMC's there.
SPEAKER_01You just it's so hard. And I'd probably put Derrick Henry up there too.
SPEAKER_04The the chances of CMC doing it again aren't great. And I mean, if he's healthy, they are. Yeah, but there's like this. I don't know the statistics off the top of my head, but it's like when a running back gets like over and he had like four hundred and thirteen touches last year. That's insane. And and the the the mark is like 350. It's like when a running back sees over 350 opportunities, their chances of being injured the year after are like significantly higher.
SPEAKER_01It's not good for me.
SPEAKER_04Why? Because Bichon is over the 350 touch mark and was remarkably healthy last year. And there's like another crazy statistic on running backs in the NFL. Like they almost never play all 17 games.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Almost never. No running back in the NFL. And I'm pretty sure Bichon did.
SPEAKER_01And so did Gibbs.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, right. Like just the odds of that happening again aren't great.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I think I think when you bring that statistic up and you talk about that, it I would take Gibbs over Bijan going into this year because Bichon or Gibbs did all of his work on about 320 touches.
SPEAKER_04He also had David Montgomery. Like the roles will switch. Like there is a good chance that Jameer Gibbs could see 400 touches. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01His efficiency is probably going to go down, you think?
SPEAKER_04Maybe.
SPEAKER_01He's really good. I don't know if I if I think that like his touches are going to go up that much.
SPEAKER_04Who the fuck? Who are Sailors? I don't even know his first name.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's Fawn, but like I'm saying I feel like they'll just be more pat, like they're just gonna pass the ball a little bit more.
SPEAKER_04But he'll still be in there too. Pacheco will be back. No, they're saying, like, they're saying that he might not return for the season.
SPEAKER_01Really?
SPEAKER_04Yeah. And even if he does, like, is he even like is he worth it? Like he wasn't worth it.
SPEAKER_01As a backup, like as somebody that bro, I here's bro, we've seen.
SPEAKER_04I would rather have. Who would I rather have than as a pretty much anybody?
SPEAKER_01There's gonna be a lot of players that you would rather have, but if you look at specifically like RB2s, there's not gonna be a ton.
SPEAKER_04Like, I don't even know if he comes back this year, and if he does, like I don't even know how effective he is.
SPEAKER_01Hey, look, bro, the dude from the Lions did hit 100 yards in the preseason finale.
SPEAKER_04Oh, Sailors?
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Sion Vacky has nine combined Quebec. I mean, Dan Campbell's three running backs on their depth chart, Jabari Small, Sion Vacky, and Sailors have a combined nine carries for 29 yards in the regular season.
SPEAKER_04And Dan Campbell was like, he came out in a press conference and he was like, look, it's great that we have a running back like Sailors and blah, blah, blah. You know, he's juicing him up. So like he's clearly probably the RB2 in that offense. I don't know. Like, look, I think Jameer Gibbs is gonna be on the field a ton.
SPEAKER_01I'll also consider I think if Gibbs is out, they're gonna they're gonna go get like 13, bro.
SPEAKER_04They're talking about Brian Robinson Jr. being the bruiser and the goal line back for Atlanta.
SPEAKER_01Like man, Bichon's gonna get that. Bijan's still gonna do his.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, we say that, but it was the same way with Tyler Algier. Like he would get just too many carries, and you're just like, why? Why are you doing this? Because you know who can do the exact same thing that Tyler Algier is doing.
SPEAKER_01But you look at it and you say that you talk about that 350 clip, like touch clip, Bijan Robinson is getting that if he's not getting like he's hitting, he's probably closer to 400 if Tyler Algier isn't getting as much of the work as he was getting.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, but they're talking about Brian Robinson getting that same, like that same role.
SPEAKER_01And look, and that's fine.
SPEAKER_04I just think you're still telling me you're giving me a three. I'm taking Gibbs, like I'm taking Gibbs over Bichon just over the simple fact that there's like Brian Robinson Jr. is a much better backup running back than yeah, but just a fancy.
SPEAKER_01I th I mean I think the line, so like here are here are the top, I'm just gonna say five because there's no way I'm taking Miles.
SPEAKER_04And the and Detroit's a much better team than Atlanta. Like Atlanta's gonna be one of the worst teams in the NFL this year.
SPEAKER_01I don't think so.
SPEAKER_04I do.
SPEAKER_01Somebody in our fantasy league uh thinks that uh two is back. Yeah. That's crazy. The same as Daniel Jones, man. They're projected the same. But but look, here are some potential options that they're saying. Well, I guess this is just A-Z sports, so nothing crazy. But Kareem Hunt, Jerome Ford, Antonio Gibson, Khalil Herbert, Miles Sanders.
SPEAKER_04None of those names. Miles Sanders definitely not getting picked up.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's why, yeah, that's why I said wasn't getting picked up. But I'm saying Kareem Hunt, Jerome Ford, like we're talking about people to be a spellback.
SPEAKER_04Like, this is just gonna be somebody come in and get those, get some touches. Out of that list, I would hope that they would go get like Jerome Ford. I like Jerome Ford. He's probably the best off of that list.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and then if you're wanting to keep something with like a more dual threat, you could always get Antonio Gibson. He's had some success. Boy's a fumble.
SPEAKER_04He's a fumble guy. He loves them fumbles. Got him. That man went from that man went from I mean, he was like a top ten running back in fantasy one year. And then the next year he just was gone. He got the fumbles, man. He just could not hold on to the ball. And it was a wrap. Just like that.
SPEAKER_01And and well Ford and Ford had what produced when Chubb got hurt in Cleveland.
SPEAKER_04I uh Yeah, no, Jerome Ford's a decent running back. He's the best out of that list. It's no, it's not gonna matter though. But it yeah, but you're just talking about somebody that's got I'm saying that be like Brian Robinson Jr. is a capable running back that will see touches.
SPEAKER_01You Yeah, absolutely. But so is Tyler Algier.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, 100%.
SPEAKER_01I don't think I'm saying you're just talking about from a fantasy ceiling perspective.
SPEAKER_04Like there's not that in Detroit.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, follow that we know of, yeah. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_01You think David Montgomery's gonna ball out? In Houston. Do you think that helps CJ Stroud this year?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I do actually. So I think I don't know if what you're calling ball out, but I think you think he's like a thousand-yard running back?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I do. Behind that shitty ass offensive line.
SPEAKER_04That's not great. With CJ Stroud. He definitely has. I mean, like, he was like third or fourth in the best odds for double-digit touchdowns.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Like, I think he's gonna see a lot of things.
SPEAKER_01Which he was solid before. Yeah, he went to Detroit. He's been a he's always been a decent running back. I don't think that like I feel like people lose a lot of the efficiency that he gained by by like being having Jameer Gibbs split in the backfield. Right. Or like being the lead guy in that backfield.
SPEAKER_04I do you I don't know. I don't really have much else to add. I just think that to be honest with you, I think Gibbs and Bijan are probably interchangeable. I would just pick Gibbs just because the Lions are a better team. That's fair. Really? I mean Bichon's sick. He's sick as fuck. I just hate the I think the Falcons are terrible. I do.
SPEAKER_01I think they man, they're still gonna find a way to be competitive in that in that division. Yeah, if by competitive you mean finish last then yet. Man, let's just say that he comes back. Who? Tua. Like let's just say he bounces back.
SPEAKER_04Kevin Stefanski is a is a good coach. The only thing that's gonna be bouncing on Tua is his head off the ground. Okay. Tua's cooked.
SPEAKER_00That's crazy, bro.
SPEAKER_04Tua is cooked. There's zero evidence that you can sit there and look at and be like, yeah, I think Tua could really make a comeback. Zero. There's literally zero evidence.
SPEAKER_01Bro, look, he has a chance to be the next Sam Donald because he changed teams.
unknownYikes.
SPEAKER_01He's on his second team. Everybody that gets a second team and is a starter for their second team now can it can be the next Sam Darnold. Even though Sam Darnold didn't win until he got on his like fifth team.
SPEAKER_03I hate that.
SPEAKER_01He didn't, it's not like he's exactly gonna win too. He didn't spend a year at a time.
SPEAKER_04Because part of it, like part of it's true, right? Like there's gonna like say Kyler Murray comes out week one and he balls out. Like there's gonna be He's in a better position, though. Yeah, he's on a better team.
SPEAKER_01Well, I guess you really can't really say that because He had the one a good quarterback in Atlanta can make that team a competitive team. I mean, you drop a good quarterback in Atlanta, drop Baker Mayfield in Atlanta.
SPEAKER_04That's a playoff team. They're better. They're a playoff team. In that division. Yeah. I think the Saints win that division, though. I think that they're you big on Shuck. I am. Except I saw somebody the other day say that where they put 18, almost 1,900 bucks on Tyler Shuck.
SPEAKER_01To win MVP?
SPEAKER_04Yeah. It's a donation. That's what I said. I said that. I literally replied in the comments. I was like, I like Shuck, but to me, this is what I'd call a donation.
SPEAKER_01Free money. Vegas loves that.
SPEAKER_04Look, if you want to like if you want to donate $1,900, you can donate it to we're not experts.
SPEAKER_01I'll take that same, I'll take those same odds with you, buddy. Man.
SPEAKER_02Man, you can donate that to we're we'll be your bookie.
SPEAKER_01Man, the next next pod, we're gonna have our final predictions. We're gonna have some gambling picks.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01It'll be it'll be fun. We get we're gonna lay it out on the line. We're gonna have some season-long bets that I like for player props, division winners, playoff pictures, Super Bowl champs, superlatives, etc. etc.
SPEAKER_04It's really the beginning. Before we leave this though, I want to know. So I had the other day, I think it was like yesterday. Yeah, it was yesterday. Poly Market tweeted a picture of Ball State's. Have you seen Ball State's quarterback?
SPEAKER_00The quarterback.
SPEAKER_04Beef boy. He's like 250. He's like 6'1, 250. He's a big boy. Polymarket edited the photo to make him look fatter. Okay, so you're like, why am I telling you this? Because I quote tweeted that tweet from Poly Market, not realizing that it was AI. Well, the picture wasn't the picture wasn't AI. They just went in with AI and edited his size. Just made him bigger. They just made him fatter. And, you know, like I quote tweeted and said beef boy. It's a beef boy.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Which I mean, he is big.
SPEAKER_01250 quarterbacks, you know.
SPEAKER_04Without like he's big without he's like 6'1, 6'0.
SPEAKER_01I mean, you know, Derek Henry is a large human being. Yeah, but he's like 6'3. Yeah. Talking about it's just two inches, buddy.
SPEAKER_04This dude, this dude, yeah, 250 though, is like, and they list him at 6'1 ⁇ , what is he, 6'5'11? Right. You know what I'm saying? This dude's probably like my height, my weight, playing QB. And so I got community noted by I saw that by Twitter. And said that this photo was altered with AI. That hurt your pride. No, no, no, no, no, no. I mean, it's that's fine. Everybody gets got every now and again, right?
SPEAKER_01It is true.
SPEAKER_04Some of this AI is getting better. It's getting really good. But I then quote tweeted me getting community noted. And said, This is why we're not experts doesn't fuck with polymarket or any other market prediction.
SPEAKER_02Facts.
SPEAKER_04Because they're shady as fuck.
SPEAKER_02That is some shady shit you just did right there, bruh.
SPEAKER_04Why are you even why who who? Who is sitting over here? He's a quarterback for ball state, for Christ's sake. And he's 250. Why are we sitting over here making him fatter? It almost makes you question if he's actually 250. Who's running the social media account? It needs to be fired. Yeah. It needs to be fired. Yeah, he can be a beef boy without being made to look fatter. Facts. Yeah, that's crazy. You're fucking polymarket. You're supposed to be a legit business.
SPEAKER_01What's his name? I want to look him up.
SPEAKER_04I don't even fucking know his name. I have my Twitter open though, so I can tell you his name real quick.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. You know what? I feel you, bro. Like you just No, no, you lied. He's not. He is not 6'1. He's 5'10. Kedrick Luster. Yeah. Keldrick. This dude, this dude's my height. And was my weight. I mean, oh, brother. He's got massive arms. This dude has a fucking, he's gotta have a cannon. Beef boy. Right? I mean, dude. Nah, bro. This dude's just fucking jazz.
SPEAKER_04Dude, you know what I just realized?
SPEAKER_01Are you looking at bro?
SPEAKER_04Polymarket has taken that post down since.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Yeah. Shout out to you. You're doing God's work. You got some skin in the game now.
SPEAKER_04That's why we don't fuck with predictions.
SPEAKER_01Bro, but bro, did you look my boy up? Yeah, no, I've seen pictures of him. I will say, the beef boy picture is hilarious. It's funny. But this dude is jacked. Dude, I just a little chunky.
SPEAKER_00He's a little beef in there. Just a little bit.
SPEAKER_04He's a little chunky. 5'10. Just imagine me. You were like, think of you playing wide receiver. Now put me at quarterback for Ball State.
SPEAKER_01It'd be a beef boy. Yeah. You wouldn't expect much. That's crazy. Shame on Polymarket for doing that. Shame. I don't respect. And look, the fact that you delete it doesn't change the fact that we all know that you did it.
SPEAKER_04Like I'm leaving my shit. It just says post unavailable, right? From where I quote tweeted it.
SPEAKER_01I'm leaving that. Well, it's it's still like on the internet.
SPEAKER_04You fucking moral. Like it's not going into it. Yeah, of course it's on the internet. It got screenshotted a million times, I'm sure.
SPEAKER_01So you deleting it don't change shit. Yeah, it just shows you a bunch of frauds. It turned into a news article. Did it really? Yeah, from the Indie Star.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I bet. I bet. They were probably like, man, these are some shady mugs.
SPEAKER_01New starting quarterback. Hey, man. I hope he balls out so he can shit on Polly Market. He's gonna shit on you. He's gonna quote tweet yours and say, You said I was a beef boy. I don't mean that in a bad way. Well, I mean, with the picture that you saw, you thought he was a beef boy. I figured. He is a beef boy. At that, uh at that with the well, the Photoshop pick, you would have thought that he should have been on the offensive line.
SPEAKER_04Brother, if you suited me up, if you suited me up in pads today and told every the world that I was Western Kentucky's starting quarterback, people would be quote tweeting that saying beef boy.
SPEAKER_01They'd probably actually be like, no, the fuck it ain't.
SPEAKER_02And I weigh less. I weigh less than he does. He'd be like, no, the fuck he ain't. That's exactly what they're saying. That's probably what people are saying about.
SPEAKER_01They'd say this guy is the white Dejaun Love.
SPEAKER_04Dejaan Love.
SPEAKER_01I think isn't Strib Club number seven?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, he is.
SPEAKER_04He is now. He changed his number. He said he was funny. Shout out to Deshaun Stribling, man.
SPEAKER_01Oh man, Will Levis tried out for the Jets.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah. Did I mention that DeAndre Swift got hurt earlier?
SPEAKER_01You did not.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, DeAndre Swift. Yeah, DeAndre Swift got hurt today. We don't know the severity. They said that he was in a lot of pain.
SPEAKER_01Ooh. If it ends up being something.
SPEAKER_04They also said Ashton Genty was in a lot of pain.
SPEAKER_01They prayed. Did the Bears pray?
SPEAKER_04They probably prayed. Roma Dunze also left practice in the same person.
SPEAKER_01If they didn't pray, we might have a couple of ACL tears.
SPEAKER_04It's Luther Burden season.
SPEAKER_01That's what it seems like. It's Luther Burden season. It also seems like it could potentially be Kyle Moningy season. He's week to week. That's fine. He'll be back at some point.
SPEAKER_04Not expected to be there week one. They're saying that Roshan Johnson. Oh man.
SPEAKER_01The guy that Montenegai took his spot last year.
SPEAKER_04Could it, could it, could it go back? He's gonna earn it. I actually liked Roshan Johnson coming out.
SPEAKER_01He was solid. You know.
