We're Not Experts
We’re Not Experts is a podcast hosted by two guys who’ve somehow survived 15+ years of friendship and now think that qualifies them to talk into microphones. We’re average early 30’s dudes with very strong opinions and very average credentials—which is exactly the point.
We’re sports ethicists in the loosest sense of the term, breaking down the morals, madness, and mayhem of a wide variety of sports… but let’s be honest: football will absolutely hijack the conversation. We can talk about other sports. We just won’t stop talking about football.
Expect passionate debates, hot takes that cool off immediately, arguments that go nowhere, and the occasional moment of clarity that surprises everyone—including them. Stats may appear. Logic might leave the room. Confidence will always be high.
We’re not analysts. We’re not insiders. We’re definitely not experts.
We’re just two longtime friends talking sports the way most people do—too confidently, for too long, and with absolutely no credentials to back it up.
We’re Not Experts — and neither are you, so you’ll fit right in.

No NFL? No problem. This week we go completely off script, diving into Team USA's World Cup crashout, reality TV, Stephen A. Smith's latest comments, and whatever else managed to hijack the sports world. It's an offseason episode full of hot takes, random debates, and the kind of conversations that prove we're not experts—we just have opinions on everything.
Episode 29, we're not experts. We're back. Live from the cave. We are live from the cave. We there's not a ton of NFL news to talk about. As you can imagine. We're coming into slow season. Like right before like training camps about to start up in the next couple of weeks. That's when it'll get lit. There'll be a lot of hype.
SPEAKER_01It'll be interesting to see how much time James Pierce Jr.
SPEAKER_00misses. Zero. Zero days.
SPEAKER_01Bro, that's nuts.
SPEAKER_00Terry and Arnold's not going to be he's not going to miss many days either, brother. There's three teams interested.
SPEAKER_01There's no way.
SPEAKER_00That's a real report. From his lawyer.
SPEAKER_01He's just talking.
SPEAKER_00He's like, there were three teams already interested as soon as he got waived. The teams just didn't want to pay his salary. Bro.
SPEAKER_01Unless he beats the case. Yeah, I mean, you're you're wasting it. You're gonna get him for camp. You're just gonna get him until he gets sentenced. He's gonna be like, alright, guys, it was it was good playing with y'all. Unless he's one magical run. He's not beating that case. They have a fucking Snapchat group.
SPEAKER_00They said the same thing about OJ. They said OJ wasn't beating the case.
SPEAKER_01I don't think we're gonna compare OJ Simpson to what Terry and Arnold did. We're not doing that. One, one, I mean, the technology wasn't there.
SPEAKER_00OJ was was way worse.
SPEAKER_01He didn't do it, clearly. He didn't do it. Oh shit. I mean, for real though. Like how if he would have done it, they would have convicted him.
SPEAKER_00If the glove guilty, you must have quit. Right.
SPEAKER_01I didn't do it. My hand could not fit in that glove, therefore I couldn't have worn that glove when I stabbed her.
SPEAKER_00Juicy J, you know, and and James Pierce Jr. probably, this is the advice he probably took. He listened to the great philosopher Juicy J. And Terry and Arnold needs to take the same advice. He once had a song called Johnny Cochrane. You should call my lawyer Johnny Cochran. It's a great piece of advice.
SPEAKER_01He's a little long in the tooth these days. Wait, he's not even alive, right? No.
SPEAKER_00I don't think so.
SPEAKER_01Can't call him. I don't think Juicy J could have called to be there.
SPEAKER_00Call my lawyer, Johnny Cochran. You just he needs to be up to that standard.
SPEAKER_01Man, he needs to call what's her name? Olivia Pope from Scandal.
SPEAKER_00Man, that's that is my wife's shit.
SPEAKER_01My fiance enjoys that show as well.
SPEAKER_00Bruh, if she heard that right now, she'd probably pop in the pod and be like, have you watched Scandal? I have not. I have been watching Love Island, though. Oh. Really trashy reality TV. I don't know if it's something I could get into.
SPEAKER_01It's actually kind of funny.
SPEAKER_00Funny how. Like funny, could you make fun of people?
SPEAKER_01I make fun of people all the time. Every time they go and talk about how they have these feelings for someone and everything, I'm just like, how could I develop feelings for someone that I've just seen like make out hardcore with every other guy or girl in this villa? Like they're out here doing challenges where they have to like tell who you have a crush on and shit like that. And I'm like, bro, what?
SPEAKER_00You remember uh you remember the real world? Yeah. Back in the day. Is it like real world? Nah, bro, it's like worse.
SPEAKER_01It's yeah, it's it's it's way worse. Yeah, but it's but it's entertaining though. Like I see why, like, especially like women like it, because there's a lot of like drama in it. Like, you just basically see that these basically I wouldn't fall in love with anyone that I met on that TV show.
SPEAKER_00How long are they together?
SPEAKER_01Well, they're like they're out for like the end like a month or a month and a half or so. There's like 36 episodes. They come on like every other day or every day.
SPEAKER_00And that's a and like that's the whole season.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And like episodes come on like six days a week.
SPEAKER_00It's like NASCAR. It's like they just never stop.
SPEAKER_01They're just here for the summer and then they leave, and then like the next summer somebody else.
SPEAKER_00Nah, dude, they think NASCAR races for what, 36 weeks out of the year? That's fucking crazy.
SPEAKER_01Well, well, Love Island just for like a month and a half.
SPEAKER_00You said there's 36 episodes.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, they come out with an episode six days a week, so it's six weeks.
SPEAKER_00Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_01So they're just like cranking them out.
SPEAKER_00How much do you think they get paid? You think are they getting paid?
SPEAKER_01Probably not. I mean, I'm sure they're probably paid some kind of I mean, I I mean, I wouldn't certainly wouldn't want to go get on TV and miss a month of work, potentially. Are any of the people like whoever wins at the end gets a hundred thousand.
SPEAKER_00No.
SPEAKER_01So you're in a fake fall in love with somebody, let's steal the hearts of America, like capture this $100,000, and then we'll break up.
SPEAKER_00This is like the new gen Bachelor.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but the Bachelor's still going on. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I don't watch that bullshit. I don't get into any of that.
SPEAKER_01I only watch Love Island because my fiance asked me to watch it with her, and like now that I'm a husband in training, I feel like I have I'm now obligated to like watch those kind of shows.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Dude, my wife got me into The Flash. You ever watch The Flash? Oh brother. The first two seasons are elite. It gets a little squirrely.
SPEAKER_01It starts falling off after that.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, the first two seasons are legit.
SPEAKER_01I mean, that's like a lot of TV series, though.
SPEAKER_00What the first two seasons?
SPEAKER_01Well, yeah, like they start out good and then like, you know, by the time you start getting four, five, six.
SPEAKER_00Kinda. I look, I don't I'm not the biggest TV watcher. Me either. I'm just watching TV, yeah. I was about to say, if I'm watching TV, it's normally sports or sports related, any kind of sports TV.
SPEAKER_01I've been watching Wimbledon.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I've watched a little bit of Wimbledon.
SPEAKER_01Oh, really?
SPEAKER_00I've watched a little bit.
SPEAKER_01That's kind of surprising, actually.
SPEAKER_00I wouldn't do it normally.
SPEAKER_01You know, every every time I've been over here and be like, hey, bro, let's turn on whatever major tennis tournament's going on at the time, you're like clowning me for watching it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, like right now we have the World Cup on. I if if you were like, hey, let's cut on Wimbledon, I would tell you to fuck off. Bro, tennis is lit, dog. It's not as dope as the World Cup.
SPEAKER_01I would rather watch Yannick Center and Carlos Alcaraz in like a major tennis tournament final than this Columbia-Switzerland game right now.
SPEAKER_00That's crazy. That's a hot take. I guess we're known for delivering hot takes. I'll give you another hot take then. Alright. This tournament is the greatest sports tournament on planet Earth.
SPEAKER_01I mean, yeah, it's like a worldwide thing.
SPEAKER_00I mean, I would well it don't hit harder than it don't hit harder than the Olympics. It hits way harder. No, it doesn't. Oh my god. That's the craziest fucking thing I've ever heard.
SPEAKER_01Bro, the summer Olympics hits harder than the World Cup. Are you fucking Are you drunk? No, bro. Like, isn't soccer in the Olympics? Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Who cares? Nobody cares. They don't even they don't even bring the stars. Who cares? It's all the they'll bring fucking a bunch of 20-year-olds.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but you got fucking tracking field. I'm cool on it. I'm a pass. Bro, the Olympics hits way harder than way harder than than the World Cup, dog.
SPEAKER_00So we just watched you know in my lifetime.
SPEAKER_01One of the better soccer matches we've seen.
SPEAKER_00Well, yeah, but not even that. Like, this World Cup's been insane, first off. But like the run from the US, obviously, we're American. And nobody here gives a fuck about soccer. Right. And maybe, just maybe, that this World Cup maybe flipped a switch.
SPEAKER_01No, it doesn't.
SPEAKER_00And soccer propels itself into the fourth most popular sport in America.
SPEAKER_01You think it's gonna overtake what? Hockey?
SPEAKER_00No, probably not. Probably not hockey.
SPEAKER_01What's it gonna overtake?
SPEAKER_00Basketball? It's probably not gonna overtake basketball either.
SPEAKER_01Well, it's definitely not gonna overtake the NFL. So like you're saying it's gonna overtake baseball? Yeah. No way. I could see that. Nah, bruh. Baseball's still baseball's still it. I see, I like baseball. Like I don't pay baseball. I enjoy watching baseball too, especially in like the postseason.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, like October's lit.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Baseball and October's dope.
SPEAKER_01But especially the But I think the thing that you're failing to realize when you talk about like, oh, so many people, like earlier we were talking about like the American soccer being like the most watched game, like ever, whatever, like in American foot soccer history or whatever. That's cool and all, but like think about how many people watch the Olympics. Okay, we're thinking about how many millions of people are gonna watch fucking the gymnastics when it comes around. Who the f you think people wake up when the Olympics over and it's like, oh, I wonder if there's a gymnastics match on. Yeah, no, they don't.
SPEAKER_00I know they don't because nobody's not gonna be no different. I'm just saying that I think it will be different.
SPEAKER_01I don't think so.
SPEAKER_00Because soccer is so popular around the world, like it's something you almost want to get into. You almost get FOMO.
SPEAKER_01Bro, I don't know.
SPEAKER_00Like you almost get FOMO from it. You're like, damn, like everyone else enjoys this. Why do we not enjoy this?
SPEAKER_01Because we play real football. Hey.
SPEAKER_00I heard them say on Busted with the Boys that the reason people are mean right now is because they're missing football.
SPEAKER_01That's right.
SPEAKER_00Like, so you know, if you come across somebody in life that's being hateful or ugly, they're just missing football.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Like that's all that is.
SPEAKER_01Like me. I'm in my seasonal depression right now.
SPEAKER_00What are we, like nine weeks away from college football? Something like that?
SPEAKER_01Yes, I don't even think it's that many. Maybe eight.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, maybe. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Nah, it's gonna be like the end of August.
SPEAKER_00That's lit.
SPEAKER_01Seven weeks.
SPEAKER_00Football's back when college football comes back.
SPEAKER_01Man, bro. I'm so excited, dog. I'm so excited for like NFL to roll back around. Like, I have some hope for my team not necessarily to like be good. You had some Monday night football last night.
SPEAKER_00Do you?
SPEAKER_01First time America lost on Monday night football.
SPEAKER_00Man.
SPEAKER_01Isn't that crazy? I saw a stat. We're like 732 and zero. Oh, you play but when Americans playing Monday night football?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, no, last night. The Belgians prevailed.
SPEAKER_01Man, yeah. I'm so glad I didn't put any money on America because I was going to.
SPEAKER_00I was going to too. I didn't need to.
SPEAKER_01And something was telling me I was just like, I don't know. It just seems a little too fishy that Balogun got cleared. Like he won his appeal, and then the odds got worse for America.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_01I was like, that's fishy. I was like, well, then why are we throwing a fit about it?
SPEAKER_00Like the problem, I don't know. Like, people were acting like Belgium sucks.
SPEAKER_01No, they're not. But like we remember like peak Belgium, Belgium.
SPEAKER_00Lost to them too.
SPEAKER_01Eight to twelve, was it was it like eight, twelve years ago? The golden age of their Yeah, lost to them.
SPEAKER_00Around the 16.
SPEAKER_01They had that one dude that had that super long hair.
SPEAKER_00They uh they were sick. He was sick. Eden Hazard. Remember him? Yeah. Sick as fuck. Prime Romalu Lakaku. Sick sick. Best midfielder in the world with De Bruina. They were sick. They were sick.
SPEAKER_01Now those guys are all old.
SPEAKER_00Old as fuck. Don't worry, Romalu Lakaku still found a way to score. You could here you know the craziest thing. Here's some crazy. Like I don't I don't know how closely you looked at like player props or anything, like goal scored or first goal scored or anything like that, or goal score anytime. Yeah. He was the highest odds that he didn't start. Ramu Lukaku. He didn't even come on. What he came on like the 70th or 80th day. That's nuts. It's first off, it's crazy that Vegas had the wherewithal to be like, look, we're gonna throw him on here. If they're gonna score a goal, it's obviously gonna be him.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_00That's crazy. But he's not even gonna start.
SPEAKER_01It just goes to show that like for as good as like, you know, American soccer is, and I and you know, you you're more into soccer than I am. So like in your eyes, like you're like, oh man, this is soccer in America is like the best that it's ever been. It's only gonna get better. Like, like we were having that conversation. Like, it still goes to show like how far away we still are from like the actual like top teams in the world.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, the gap is so large.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so it's like, yes, we may be better, we may be better than we've ever been, but like how far away does does that mean that we have been to everybody else? You I'll tell you that gap did not close at all when it came time. This is this.
SPEAKER_00This is what I was gonna get to. It's like this is like what like the most disappointing part is. Is like you you sit over here and you're like, man, like Christian Polisic, he's sick, right? Like he plays in top league in Europe. You say he's sick.
SPEAKER_01You told me he was the GOAT of American soccer.
SPEAKER_00He probably is the greatest American soccer player of all time. You told me he was taking this play.
SPEAKER_01Did he shoot the bed last night? Absolutely. Last night or the entire tournament?
SPEAKER_00Yeah. I mean, he got hurt when he played. He got hurt. He looked good when he played against Turkey. He looked good when the 30 or 45 minutes, I mean, that he played against Paraguay. He looked great. I, you know, it's tough. I hate it that he sucked like that. Because that fing hurt. Yeah. You know why it hurt though? Because it's not just him. Like it's like you got Weston McKinney fucking Mr. Do It All for Juventus. Like, literally, Mr. Do-It-All, whatever they need. They're like, they'll put Weston McKinney there and he goes and does it. Cardo Pepe's one of the top scores in the Dutch league. You got Flo Balligan, one of the top scores in the French league. Like, it's not just one person. You got Malik Tillman, he's sick. He had this coming out party. He might be the best player.
SPEAKER_01And then you got an MLS goaltender.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And that's where your problem was.
SPEAKER_00He's cooked.
SPEAKER_01That's where your problem was.
SPEAKER_00Matt Freeze is cooked. That's one of the biggest blunders I've ever witnessed in my life. Because at that moment in time it was 2-1. We were in the game, front foot. But my point being is like it does feel like we've never been closer.
SPEAKER_01But yeah, we were still so far away. I think I think part of it is like we if you look at it, like the road to get here, though, like I mean you you can you can almost chalk it up to the fact that it it wasn't how good America was. It was just more so, I feel like, the road that it took to get here. Like we played nobody.
SPEAKER_00I mean, Paraguay beat Germany.
SPEAKER_01Okay, that's that's fine. But I mean we're talking about in the greatest scheme. Right, but I'm but I'm saying it's you know, you in the grand scheme of things, you're not looking at Paraguay as like one of the top 30 teams in the world.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, but maybe it should be an argument for it. I mean, in qualifying, they didn't.
SPEAKER_01You're calling them the 30th best team in the world, and because America beat them, like we can put that on their resume of like that's a good way.
SPEAKER_00But they they didn't beat anybody good. They beat Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay on the on the America hasn't beaten anybody good.
SPEAKER_01No, that's seemingly ever.
SPEAKER_00No, we beat Spain before. We beat Germany before in a friendly. I said seemingly ever.
SPEAKER_01I wasn't being literal. But it's not you get in these targets, you're not wrong. When you beat the teams that you're supposed to beat, that's what caused like America to just have this belief.
SPEAKER_00It's like couple that with the fact that it's a home world cup, too. It also like the belief started happening partly because like they weren't just people like Zlatan are sitting over here, like, yes, this team can win.
SPEAKER_01And people are like, oh my god. I don't even know who this guy is, but he said we can win. They were beating the fuck out of people, though. Truly. They were beating the fuck out of bad teams. Australia, are they good?
SPEAKER_00They're not great. Okay. They're not good.
SPEAKER_01You think Paraguay's good? They lost to Turkey. Yeah, I know they had their backups. Turkey's good. Turkey's a good soccer team.
SPEAKER_00Who do they play in the we lost to them, though.
SPEAKER_01So yeah, that's why I said we lost. We also we also played our bench. Yeah, right. Who do they play in the fucking the first round?
SPEAKER_00What do you mean?
SPEAKER_01Why am I having a brain fart? Bosnia, yeah. Come on now.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I mean, it's not a great scene.
SPEAKER_01When you're beating the fuck out of teams that like literally, what would Spain have done to any of those teams? Or what would France have done to those? What would Argentina have done with them?
SPEAKER_00Uh yeah. No, I mean it's a fair point. I and you're you're not wrong. Like, there obviously is still a gap. A large gap.
SPEAKER_01But it just I don't know if you're gonna gap closing.
SPEAKER_00That's what hurts the most is like you like even if you do lose that game, you hope that your your boys go out there and go hard. You know what I mean? Like did you watch the England-Mexico game?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Mexico went out like some gangsters.
SPEAKER_01Right, yeah. No, I mean they played, but like going into that game.
SPEAKER_00Like Mexico wasn't favored, but you know, the English media was freaking out about the altitude and shit. Soft, whatever. Jew Bellingham, sick as fuck.
SPEAKER_01I just don't think yeah, right. But I mean we don't have one of those. We wouldn't have or Harry Kane.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, we definitely don't have one of those. We certainly don't have an Mbappe. But you know, but to your like to your point though, like that's what we were hoping Balligan was gonna be.
SPEAKER_01Was a type of and then everything looks good when you're playing like lower competition, and then you come back and you play somebody that's it just like on par. Like, I just feel like when we look back and we look at like in tournament tournament aspects, fuck friendlies. I mean, I know those are games, but like I'm games that count for something. You don't historically see them beating teams that they're not supposed to beat.
SPEAKER_00Right. Well, and you know, being in CONCACAF, like you're playing against the Hades and Kirasels and the Yeah, I mean two good teams and you even have piss poor performances in those sometimes. Yeah, and you which I mean look, like you're going to some of those countries, they're playing on some bullshit. So a little bit of it's a little bit of it might be excusable, but you know, you get to play two good teams as it for the most part, especially when you're playing in like the Gold Cup. Like you there's you know, like you know who the semifinal and final matchups are probably gonna be.
SPEAKER_02Yep.
SPEAKER_00Like it's always Panama versus Mexico and US versus Canada, or vice versa. Like you know, like you know.
SPEAKER_01And really what it boils down to is you come into this and you expect it every year to just be Mexico and USA.
SPEAKER_00Right. Yeah, 100%. I mean, that's what they hope for every year, or when it happens every two years.
SPEAKER_01Well, I mean, well, I mean, like, that's the expectation almost going into it, unless they're like on the same side of it. Like if they're on the opposite sides where they can meet in the final, you're like, all right, here's USA and Mexico.
SPEAKER_00I uh it hurt though, brother. Brother, that one hurt.
SPEAKER_01It didn't hurt me.
SPEAKER_00That one hurt my soul.
SPEAKER_01I was it it didn't hurt me. I kind of expected it.
SPEAKER_00I didn't. I went in, bro. I went in.
SPEAKER_01I was like, You thought we had a chance to win it all?
SPEAKER_00I didn't think we had a chance to win it all.
SPEAKER_01You felt like you had a chance. I felt like if we could beat Belgium. You felt like you had hope. Like it was gonna be a team of destiny. Like if we would have came out and beat Belgium 4-1, you would have been like, bro.
SPEAKER_00I would have been like, shit.
SPEAKER_01We got a chance to win it all.
SPEAKER_00Like, we see how good we lose. I'd have been like, Spain better watch out, boy. Cause we coming. Pause. Pause. That's what I would have said though, for sure. I would have been juiced up, Sunday.
SPEAKER_01Exactly. So it's like, I think part of it. It's very disappointing for people that are just like got like got so like high on the expectations so fast because of how good we looked in this point, to where now everybody's just like, you know, like you said, like if we would have looked, if it would have been a competitive match, so we lost like 3-2 in extra time or some shit like that. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Nobody would even be there.
SPEAKER_01It's almost like, oh no, we suck again. You know, from the water boy.
SPEAKER_00Man. And bro, that Matt Freeze go was just hideous. He young hokooed us.
SPEAKER_01Young ho cooed.
SPEAKER_00He he kicked the ground in the biggest moment of his life.
SPEAKER_01Hey man, imagine how bad he feels.
SPEAKER_00I can't imagine how bad he feels. There's a good chance maybe not over. But like there's a good chance his his US Soccer career is a rap. Should be. Like it there's a good chance it's over. I mean, what I mean, unless we develop somebody better. We have a couple guys. Where were they? They're young. Not ready. Not ready. One of them's on the team. Chris Brady was on the team.
SPEAKER_01We'll see. We'll see next. We'll see in four World Cup in four years from now when the World Cup comes back around. Dude, that's the thing. That's another thing that's right.
SPEAKER_00That's another thing that hurts too, right? Because it's every four years. You're like, damn, I can we gotta live with this for four years.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Bro, I knew you wouldn't know. I mean, it's kind of hard to say live with this. It's like, cause I mean, in the grand scheme of things, you know. You don't give a fuck. No, I mean, I mean, I would have liked to have seen them, but it's just like, you know, like realistically, who's like, oh, I mean, we're realistically, this is like the game going into this tournament, like when you when you saw how things were gonna fall into place, or even like how things were like grouped together and whatnot, you say, okay, this is gonna be a team that they might have to play at this particular stage. I mean, it's kind of hard to be disappointed when this has pretty much been your ceiling, like the entirety of your soccer career.
SPEAKER_00That's what's disappointing. Is this was supposed to be the team that got over the round of 16 hump.
SPEAKER_01You're supposed to just win one more game. And then they get sent home and it's and it's not just so if they would have got 4-1 next week instead of tonight, yesterday.
SPEAKER_00I get what you're saying. I get what you're saying. And it's not like the most American way to look at it either. But that's what's so different about soccer.
SPEAKER_01But if this would be if this was fucking basketball, I'd probably cry.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it'll never happen.
SPEAKER_01But it's soccer, right? Right, but in soccer, like, you know.
SPEAKER_00It'll never happen in basketball. But you know, like, bruh, if LeBron James had played soccer from a child's age, we would be the sickest. If if Tyree Kill.
SPEAKER_01I don't know. LeBron might not play for America. He get he get put out, he'd get put out on one of their runs, he'd be like, alright, I'm switching.
SPEAKER_00If Tyreek Hill, if Tyree Hill was, you know, grew up playing soccer, we wouldn't be we'd be sick. We'd be sick as fuck. That's the hope. That's really the hope. But the hope is is that you start getting kids that are gonna be elite athletes. Like uh Freeman. His dad played for the Packers. Yeah. Damn, why can't I think of his fucking name? R regardless. Like, these are the type of kids that you want. You know, like his dad was a super athlete back in the day. Yeah. Like, he should have and probably had all the tools to go and play football, yeah. American football. Chose soccer.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00That's what you hope this World Cup did. Like you hope this World Cup changed some kids' minds where he's like, you know what, maybe I'll give soccer a chance. Yeah. And he plays it and then he loves it, and then turns out he's sick as fuck. Yeah. I mean, you know, hopefully one of fourteen of Tyreek's Hill's kids.
SPEAKER_01I mean, surely the guy, what of him's gotta be a good athlete, right? You gotta one of 14 changes.
SPEAKER_00Anthony Brown, I mean, Antonio Brown, you know, he's got a bunch of kids too. Maybe one of those just shows up. Yeah, those are both elite athletes. Right. I think we both agree on that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, for sure.
SPEAKER_00Like, you know, hopefully one of their seven kids or whatever decides to play soccer.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I mean, yeah, we'll we'll see.
SPEAKER_01Every kid, every kid, this is the cool thing about I think the thing that will help it is the fact that historically every one of these like athletes' kids, like that, oh, I'm gonna be a basketball player because my dad played basketball, typically suck. Outside of like Steph and Clay. I mean, whose son's been like better than dad was?
SPEAKER_00Like, you know who would probably be sick at soccer if they would have brought Bronny James. Bronny James, brother. He's strong as fuck. Man, strong. He'd have been nice. Yeah, you could have put him up top. He's fast.
SPEAKER_01And guess what? And guess what? He wouldn't be tiny. 6'2 on the soccer field. He's a big boy. He's a lot more impactful than being 6'2 on a basketball court.
SPEAKER_00I promise you. I promise you. If he would have just chosen soccer at a young age.
SPEAKER_01Man.
SPEAKER_00Or football. Yeah, yeah, for real. Or football. But he didn't. He's in the own. He's nothing like Bronny.
SPEAKER_01Whatever team, whatever team that trades for LeBron's gonna open or get pick signs, LeBron is going to trade a second round pick for Bronny.
SPEAKER_00Hell yeah, I'd take that deal in a heartbeat.
SPEAKER_01500k in draft cash considerations for Bronny.
SPEAKER_00If you're telling me if I'm if I'm JJ Reddick, I'm like, yeah, or trade me another white guy.
SPEAKER_01Giannis gonna demand a trade when his brothers don't end up in Miami with him.
SPEAKER_00The uh the Lakers are the whitest basketball team I've ever seen.
SPEAKER_01Man.
SPEAKER_00And why does Colin Sexton go to every team that LeBron leaves?
SPEAKER_01He's supposed to be the leader of the promised land.
SPEAKER_00He's like, I'm gonna revive this team. I it's so funny. Did you see what Stephen A said about LA? Oh, yes, bro.
SPEAKER_01Yes. Is that not crazy? And I wish I would have been able to talk about this like when it was fresh, because bro, that shit pissed me off for real. Keep in mind, I'm black, I get what he's saying. I'm just going to, you know what he said, right? Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00So you can't win a game with all these white people.
SPEAKER_01I want you to, I want you to tell me how how this sounds, okay? I mean, you know. I mean, you look back, you got a couple of them, you know, you got Doug Williams, you got, you got your, you know, your callin' kappa nicks that take you to the Super Bowl every now and then. But if you look at it historically, when have you seen an NFL team consistently be led to winning by a black quarterback?
SPEAKER_00Man.
SPEAKER_01If fucking Nick Wright went on TV and said that shit, or Skip Baylors went on TV and said that shit, he'd be fired the next day. I uh that's racist.
SPEAKER_00I uh have you seen have you seen like some reactions to it at all?
SPEAKER_01No, no, because I feel like that should be the only reaction. If a if he's if a white person said that about a black quarterback in the NFL, it'd be racist.
SPEAKER_00You uh you need to go watch. Do you ever watch like Jeff T S pod?
SPEAKER_01No, but I will say this too. He's right. He's right. It was fucked up, but Stephen A. Smith's right. I mean, you know, even the Celtics, when they were doing all those winning with all those whites, they still had one that was great.
SPEAKER_00First off, I will say he is a hundred percent correct.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00You're not winning shit with your three best players being white. It's still racist. I especially with your third best player being Walker Kessler.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_01Like now, if we're talking about the three whites and it's Luka Doncic, Cooper Flag, and Jokic, all right. Right.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, now you have an argument. But the the real issue here is is yeah, like what is Walker Kessler?
SPEAKER_01He's a good defender. He's a good defender. Like he's might get you 11 points a game. You know, he's gonna be a better defender than he's gonna be a better DeAndre Aiden.
SPEAKER_00He's never been a 2010 guy. Not once. He's I mean, he's had some moments. Yeah, he's had some moments. I uh, you know, I it's an accurate tape. Yeah. The problem is it's racist.
SPEAKER_01Wait, wait, no, because some people think that you can only be racist if you're white. So if somebody of another race says that it's not racist, it's just prejudice.
SPEAKER_00You know what the real problem with it is, is that I've like I so when the Walker Kessler thing happened, I sent a meme to our group chat. Yeah, I I know you saw it. So like I thought this was funny from the jump. Like, you know, like it's the they don't have they're not top five in talent anymore, they're top five in credit score.
SPEAKER_01Like it's just you know hopefully every NFL NBA player has good credit when you're making that kind of money.
SPEAKER_00But they have especially good credit.
SPEAKER_01They were born with it.
SPEAKER_00It's I just like if I said it, it would be funny with Stephen A saying it. He was also more serious about it. Yeah, like he was being serious.
SPEAKER_01Because it's a seriously true statement, okay? I wouldn't think here's my thing. Fuck winning a championship, I'm looking at this team and say, damn, I don't think this is a playoff team with all these exciting whites running around in Los Angeles now. This is the team of the exciting lights.
SPEAKER_00They're now the Iowa Iowa Hawkeyes of the NBA. If they could somehow manage to get like Duncan Robinson on the team.
SPEAKER_01Oh I mean, it'd be it'd probably be pretty easily attainable. Okay, I don't think I don't think there's gonna be a premium. They can get all these fairly cheap. Yeah, right. Trade Brawny for them.
SPEAKER_00Trade Brawny for them. I uh I think it's funny though. And you know the crazy thing is I actually really like JJ Reddick as a coach. So he wanted it. You know, he might be cooking. They might be fun. Fundamentals are gonna be off the charts. Fundamentals are gonna be off the charts.
SPEAKER_01We're gonna look back and we're gonna be like, you know what? You know one thing I feel about this LA team, you know, they may not win at all, but they're gonna play the game right.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, they're gonna, I mean, their free throw percentage has to be top five, or it's not right. I mean, white. I want to see no, there better be no arrests, no tickets. Here's you know here's another problem, too, is it's like Luca and Austin Reeves play no defense. Yeah. Luca could play defense, he doesn't, and Austin Reeves can't play defense. Yeah. Like he's like he's a great offensive player. Luca can't play defense either. He could play defense.
SPEAKER_01Fucking 6'7, he can he can be. He's slow as fucking molasses.
SPEAKER_00He is slow as fuck.
SPEAKER_01He can't jump, he can't move laterally quick. Like Luca's so slow. I question how he's so good offensively when I watch him play. He'll hit that step back, Tracy.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, jaw.
SPEAKER_01But it's just like, how can you not guard that? Like, it's not moving quick.
SPEAKER_00You know what he's gonna do, and he does it anyway.
SPEAKER_01You can't stop. And it ain't like he's just like, oh, he's just too strong, too fast, too quick. Like he's not too anything other than fat. No, man, he's back. I mean, yeah, he'll be back for a month and a half, and he's like, he goes to where's he he goes back to Slovenia and he gets right, and then American food.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, man.
SPEAKER_01He sees that he gets back and he goes to Taco Bell.
SPEAKER_00He sees that Whopper BK commercial Jesus Christ. He goes a whopper? He goes and gets a whopper with cheese. Yeah. That sounds awful. I'm a fan of BK. I'm not gonna get the bigger thing.
SPEAKER_02Columbia's going home.
SPEAKER_00I'm not gonna disparage him. You like Burger King? Yeah, I like Burger King. I like one thing on the menu from Burger King. What? The Bacon King. That's dirty. It's fucked.
SPEAKER_01Whoppers are gross. So when I fucked with when I fucked with with Burger King back in the day, I had that Tender crisp chicken sandwich. I've never been a like a fast food burger guy, though, honestly.
SPEAKER_00This is a true statement. You're not a fast food burger guy. Even from your favorite spot, which has some of the better fast food burgers.
SPEAKER_01Right. I'm a I'm big chicken, bro. You are big chicken. Big chicken. It's just for me, bro. Fast food. Like I grew up eating those good old, you know, greasy one fresh off the skillet.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, no, I'm not sure.
SPEAKER_01And then you just can't beat a burger that's not like cooked like that.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Like you'll fuck with a ferrell's burger.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Facts. I mean, any, any, I'll go to like a burger joint. I'm just not getting a fast food burger, bro. Right. Like they're all terrible. Now the chicken sandwiches, on the other hand, that should be fi.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I like the chicken sandwiches too. I'm big bag. Big bag, brother.
SPEAKER_01The chicken sandwich is going to overtake the burger. If it already hasn't.
SPEAKER_00I will, yeah, probably so. Probably so.
SPEAKER_01It makes you feel like it's healthier. It's not.
SPEAKER_00It's not.
SPEAKER_01But it makes you feel that way.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, no. It's all in the marketing. It is a hundred.
SPEAKER_01All white beaten chicken.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Oh. This gotta be fresh. How's this prepared? Deep fried it.
SPEAKER_00Like imagine being like Popeye's is so much better for you. Or like Chick-fil-A. People love Chick-fil-A. I love Chick-fil-A.
SPEAKER_01I love Chick-fil-A. Look, you could almost think Chick-fil-A feels wrong that it's not good for you because like they're literally like praying over your food and telling you it's their pleasure to serve you and you know. Which I know is not they're closed on Sunday.
SPEAKER_00Man, I know it's not their pleasure.
SPEAKER_01You know they hate that shit.
SPEAKER_00I know. I know, dude.
SPEAKER_01Hey, bro, you ever been to like inside Chick-fil-A like during lunchtime? Absolutely. Bruce, you see that, bro. The motherfuckers be back here like 20 deep cranking cranking meals out.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it well, it just really makes me wonder what goes on behind the scenes.
SPEAKER_01That it takes 20 people to prepare like meals for meals?
SPEAKER_00No, no, no, no. Like, how are we getting all these people to say my pleasure? Because if I work that they're importing them, bro.
SPEAKER_01I like I don't see any of the people that work for Chick-fil-A out and about in Hopkinsville.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Well, probably because they spend their free time door knocking.
SPEAKER_00They're Jehovah's Witnesses. That's crazy. That's crazy. The Chick-fil-A workers are Jehovah's Witnesses.
SPEAKER_01That's why they're closed on Sunday. Gotta go to church. No, what's crazy, bro?
SPEAKER_00They're a good Christian organization. That's why they're closed on Sundays, brother.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's why they don't put that damn flag up in June. Jesus Christ.
SPEAKER_00I didn't say anything wrong in James. You didn't know. I didn't even, I don't even know what you're talking about.
SPEAKER_01I mean, if anybody's offensive, it's Chick-fil-A for not doing it. Man, shout out Chick-fil-A. And the people for the Dodgers. They put that verse on their hat.
SPEAKER_00They did that in San Francisco too.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, bro.
SPEAKER_00Hey, did you see a bunch of things?
SPEAKER_01No, in the Dodgers, it was the dude, like everybody else came out with their little flag hats on, and his was just the white stitching, and then the other people were writing verses on for the Dodge.
SPEAKER_00The soccer team in the Bundesliga. And they brought him a pride jersey to sign. He looks at him and he says, I'm not signing that shit. I don't I feel it. Shit was so funny.
SPEAKER_01I don't like the fact that we sit over here and talk about equality and they're putting people on a pedestal. We're all the same.
SPEAKER_00We're all the same.
SPEAKER_01We shouldn't celebrate shit other than who the fuck's winning this football, this college football game or whatever. Soccer.
SPEAKER_00I agree, brother.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, we're not here for social reasons. I mean, I'm here for the fucking sports.
SPEAKER_00We'll end it on this. You you know, Cam Ward's had a couple rough weeks.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Don't put any stock in it. He okay. Don't put any stock in it. I'm also not putting any stock in it. Well, it's so I just think it's funny how the media runs with stories like this. I hate, but I mean you gotta have something to talk about, right? Yeah, that's the problem. That's really the problem, is they can't get on here and talk about Love Island.
SPEAKER_01Well, yeah, and well, and part of the problem Yeah, they they need to get lose a little structure. Or be more like us. Right. But I think the thing, I think the thing that sucks is like with Cam Ward like in the Titans, like you're almost in like a lose-lose situation, right? Like if they if he doesn't come out and he's like a 4,000-yard quarterback and the Titans make the playoffs, like you you're you're already disappointed. Like the leash that you get in the NFL is like non-existent. So like last year it's like, okay, he was a rookie, he sucked. Most rookies do suck. Let's see what he does in year two. And you look at it on paper and you're like, oh man, well, they had a good draft. They signed all these people in free agency, they brought in a new head coach, and in like the grand scheme of things of it, it's almost like Cam Ward's having like a second rookie season. And and I'll say this too. It it hurts. I I think it think it like it's it hurts Cam. And I think he's gonna do good this year, but like historically speaking, you're setting your quarterback up for failure. Yeah. Because you you come in, you bring him in this, you you already start bringing in the new regime last year. It's not always true, though. You come in, you get this coach and staff, you have a bad rookie year, everybody gets fired. Year two comes in, new coaching staff. You're like now, you're in year two, had a bad rookie year, have to turn around, learn a brand new scheme, brand new offense, brand new system, brand new regime. Like everything is totally different from what you learned year one. Let's say they're bad this year. Year three is gonna be almost like a make it or break it year for Cam.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_01Because if not, because if not, you're looking at it, okay, we've done invested in this quarterback. Let's just say we're bad this year and next year. Sil is probably gonna end up getting fired. Right. GM's gonna end up getting fired. It's almost like he never be like, oh, we need a quarterback.
SPEAKER_00And then he's gonna go to San Francisco.
SPEAKER_01And then he's gonna revive his career.
SPEAKER_00And Mac Jones is gonna be, you know, playing for the Vikings.
SPEAKER_01Lighten it up.
SPEAKER_00He's gonna be sick.
SPEAKER_01But but like, seriously though, like, that's kind of where, like, and in reality of it, we should be looking at the Titans are like a six-win football team, and Cam Ward just like, even if he just slightly improves versus last year, we should still look at this season as as if it's a win. I agree.
SPEAKER_00Like, especially like if you I just want to see growth. You you I mean, you say that, but it's like, you know, Caleb, Caleb Williams got Ben Johnson, and it was an immediate improvement.
SPEAKER_01Well, they were yeah, right.
SPEAKER_00But And he's a good coach, but like you just hope that that's what happened. Kinda, but like you know, he went and made his own he went and made his changes. I mean, he drafted the biggest.
SPEAKER_01But they also went a different direction than what the Titans just did. And the thing that the thing that helps that makes me feel good about the Titans is at least like he brought in an offensive coordinator in Dayball who like a good mind. At least on paper, like everybody says it, but I mean we just saw him as a head coach and he wasn't very successful. He had Daniel Jones. That offense certainly wasn't humming. One year, he had one good year, Daniel Jones.
SPEAKER_00Daniel Jones, hey, to you that would be impressive. Because you don't like Daniel Jones.
SPEAKER_01I mean, Daniel Jones had another good year last year and then he tore his Achilles.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01We'll see, we'll see what he's looking like in week one when he's back. Hey, you you laugh, but if Daniel Jones have you seen the videos? If Daniel Jones takes a snap under center week one starting the game, I will give you $100.
SPEAKER_00I don't have to give you anything? No. Hell yeah. This is a risk-free hundred dollars for you. Hell yeah. I'll definitely take that. Come on, Danny Dimes. Come on, Danny Dimes.
SPEAKER_01There's just no way that he comes back, what, what, eight months after an Achilles? Hey man.
SPEAKER_00Medicine's crazy. Okay. Medicine's crazy. He hit up all the best. He has the money to get whatever he.
SPEAKER_01I think every quarterback in the NFL has had the money. Except Jacoby Brissett.
SPEAKER_00And now he's holding out to get it. Well, no, he's back. He's he's he's back. His agent told him. He said, oh wait.
SPEAKER_01Carson Beck's looking alright. But like, look, brother, let's just play Carson. You come out here and ball out. Yeah, like, I mean, we don't think either of y'all are changing the trajectory of this team's season, so we'll just play Carson now.
SPEAKER_00Like, we don't care.
SPEAKER_01If we go from being a three win team to a two win team, so be it.
SPEAKER_00Right. Like we we don't give a shit. We're not dying on the hill of Jacoby Brissett. He just drafted a running back fifth overall, and we're terrible. Do you think we care? We we've already been scouting twenty twenty seven. We gotta Our linebacker out here telling the Rams that they need to be worried about us. That's crazy. Oh my god, bro. That's crazy.
SPEAKER_01That's that's like the quote of the offseason so far for me.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, well, hey, look, if you're not gonna believe in yourself, who is? Okay, that's the you know, you gotta be delusional sometimes.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but I mean I don't know, bro. I'd have to keep it real. I could respect that if it was coming from Buda Baker, but I certainly like I'm certainly not putting any stock with fucking Mac Wilson saying that shit.
SPEAKER_00Hey man, I'm just saying, you gotta be delusional sometimes.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, delusional comes from people that are should be good, like are I expect to be great players still. You know, Trey McBride said that. Okay.
SPEAKER_00He actually said the opposite.
SPEAKER_01See? Whose opinion are we listening to?
SPEAKER_00He he I I shouldn't say that. He didn't like he wasn't like saying that they were gonna be terrible. He was just like, it could be tough. It's gonna be tough. I mean, fuck. We know that. He's like, we got a tough division. I was like, that's an understatement. Like that might be an understatement.
SPEAKER_01What if what if the Cardinals are back, man? They're not. What if we what if Jeremiah Love and Carson Beck and or Jacoby Bissett come out here and they're like Zack and or Zach, Zeke and Dak and Dallas, they're rookie year.
SPEAKER_00What if what if Marv's good? I'll be happy. Yeah, that's really what they need.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I mean, who yeah, who gives a fuck about the team success? Can Marv show me he's a 1,300 yard receiver?
SPEAKER_00Like, if Marv's good, their offense should be alright.
SPEAKER_01I mean, if Marv's good, you at least feel good about the future. Like, we get a quarterback with Marv and O line's probably trash.
SPEAKER_00Did you know the Titans O-line was rated the worst O-line in the NFL? I can believe it. That's crazy.
SPEAKER_01It doesn't seem like it was as bad as Oakland's. Yeah. Right. Oakland. Las Vegas. I uh man, shout out to Oakland. Man. Shout out to the Oakland Raiders.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I thought that was crazy. I uh I guess the Raiders did make some major improvements.
SPEAKER_01Oh, they're talking about rent going into this year.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I don't know. Which I mean, we do have a little bit of a hole at like center and right guard now. Yeah. For sure. Definitely got worse, and it wasn't like the O line was like great to begin with. So still got fucking Dan Moore out there at left tackle, $82 million paperweight. Got a big bag. An unethical bag. An unethical bag. He got paid for being bad. Like, you know, usually you enter the BCA because you done something, you popped up and did something.
SPEAKER_00He joined it.
SPEAKER_01He joined it by being literally one of the worst tackles in football.
SPEAKER_00That's what helps. It helps when you know people.
SPEAKER_01And they chalked it up to well, Russell Wilson held on to the ball too long. And Justin Fields held on to the ball too long. That's where most of his sacks came from.
SPEAKER_00Maybe both things could be true. Maybe he's bad and they held on to the ball too long.
SPEAKER_01Maybe he held on to the ball too long because they had to keep moving around in the pocket to get rid of the ball.
SPEAKER_00I swear. You got anything else?
SPEAKER_01I don't, man.
SPEAKER_00You have a good 4th of July, bro? Yeah, man. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We were gonna shoot fireworks off, but then it was started raining and shit. Man.
SPEAKER_01I wouldn't watch it across the street from the fair.
SPEAKER_00We uh we're gonna read it. We're gonna do it on a weekend or so. In a weekend or two, though. I I mean me and E have been going out to a buddy's house for I don't know, last like three years or so. On 4th of July, it's pretty lit. Shooting fireworks off is dope. I just hope it don't end up like Jay Jason Pierre Paul.
SPEAKER_01Blowing your finger wrong. Don't be an idiot with it.
SPEAKER_00It it always worries me, but man, it's the fucking the adrenaline of it's dope.
SPEAKER_01I like shooting fireworks too. They just got too expensive for my blood these days.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, bro. They spend a check on fireworks. I'm not gonna say how much, but they spend a check. Like, I mean, we're talking thousands. Yeah. Oh, yeah, bro.
SPEAKER_01I went I went up to Michigan once, and the people that I was up there with, dog, I watched them load up a truck bed full of shit. I watched them spend probably eight to ten grand on fireworks? Yes, bro. And I mean like they had a truck full of like the artillery shells, like and at this time, you know, those weren't like as common as they are now on the Fourth Front. Like back then you had a bunch of them, you was the man on Fourth of July. Now you're just somebody else in the driveway shooting fireworks.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_01And like they probably had like 300 of them.
SPEAKER_00That is that is a lot.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, bro. Like they were they were lighting shit up for hours.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Multiple nights.
SPEAKER_00There was only gonna be four of us, and there was so much shit that we were just like, yo, this is gonna take forever.
SPEAKER_01Right, it would have been a great 4th of July.
SPEAKER_00I uh yeah, but did what'd you do? Fourth of July?
SPEAKER_01Uh I actually watched the fireworks at the fair.
SPEAKER_00Oh, you did?
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Well, I I went over to my brother's house. You know, he lived right across the street from the fair. And we got hungry. And they had delayed it, so I was like, oh, it's still raining and shit. So I was like, I haven't eaten anything. We're gonna go get fair food. And like while we were getting food at the fair, they started shooting them off.
SPEAKER_00Okay. Yeah, dope. America. Yeah. Done getting any more money.
SPEAKER_01We went swimming during the day with my with my brother's wife's family.
SPEAKER_00You know, did you did you hear this? Do you know how much they spent on the fireworks in Nashville?
SPEAKER_01There's no telling.
SPEAKER_00Yes.
SPEAKER_01I'm gonna say at least two mil.
SPEAKER_0022 million dollars.
SPEAKER_0122 million dollars on fireworks. How much they fucking spend in Washington?
SPEAKER_00Yo. That's crazy.
SPEAKER_01Me and Eve were talking about think about what they could have done with what the taxpayers paid $22 million for fireworks that people probably had to go pay to like go to an event to watch.
SPEAKER_00Me and Eve were talking about opening up our own fireworks stand.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it'd be you'd be it'd be like uh my boy with the mattress store.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, March.
SPEAKER_01He like converts it into a fireworks stand.
SPEAKER_00I get it.
SPEAKER_01He runs up a check. Yeah, one of my homies runs a fireworks tent.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, hey, they seem to be profitable.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_00You get people coming in here spending thousands of dollars.
SPEAKER_01We just gotta make sure you, it's just a big upfront investment. Yeah, right. Last thing you want is to not sell out. Yeah, spend about 15k. Shh, that ain't enough.
SPEAKER_00That's just a small tent.
SPEAKER_01You're gonna be sold out in a couple days, buddy.
SPEAKER_00That's hey, that's what we're looking for. That's what we're looking for.
SPEAKER_01I mean, shit, you getting them probably, let's just say you getting a box maybe for a hundred dollars, probably selling that bitch for three, four hundred.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, probably some of them big ones. I don't I don't know. I like look, I've never even been into it.
SPEAKER_01We can look at we can look into investing into it next year. You know, I I love like a little get rich quick scheme. So that's why I don't know how rich we'd get, but rich enough. Rich enough to do it again the next year.
SPEAKER_00Like we're gonna be the most ethical fireworks salesman. Yeah, we're gonna collect ethical bags.
SPEAKER_01That's right. We're just gonna scam people out of a tent, sell them all the duds. They go shoot them off. We wake up on the 5th of July to just a bunch of negative Facebook reviews. Buying our fireworks.
SPEAKER_00Buy all of our fireworks from TJ Maxx.
SPEAKER_01No, we just buy like the expired ones off. So I'm sure there's a dark web for it. Yeah, for sure. Expired fireworks. Absolutely. Sell them at retail. Some of these might work. Put a little third, like raise the prices 30% and then put a 30% off sticker.
SPEAKER_00Put a little sticker on the box saying that this isn't guaranteed.
SPEAKER_01We do not guarantee the quality of this product. May have been ordered from Timu.
SPEAKER_00That would be an unethical bag. I mean, if fucking Dan Moore can do it, why can't we? We want to be better than Dan Moore. We want to be better than the 30s.
SPEAKER_01Look, I'll take 82 mil in four years.
SPEAKER_00Me too. Like, I don't care how good I am for that bag. Me too. Me too. That's it. That's all I got.
SPEAKER_01That's all I got too, my man.
SPEAKER_00Man, that's episode 29.
SPEAKER_01As always, like, share, tell a friend. Man. We appreciate you tuning in with us. Yeah, definitely share. Tell a friend to tell a friend. Yeah, I swear. Holler at your boys, talk to us. Man, I swear.
SPEAKER_00We'll holler at you.
SPEAKER_01I'll see y'all on the next one.
