We're Not Experts
We’re Not Experts is a podcast hosted by two guys who’ve somehow survived 15+ years of friendship and now think that qualifies them to talk into microphones. We’re average early 30’s dudes with very strong opinions and very average credentials—which is exactly the point.
We’re sports ethicists in the loosest sense of the term, breaking down the morals, madness, and mayhem of a wide variety of sports… but let’s be honest: football will absolutely hijack the conversation. We can talk about other sports. We just won’t stop talking about football.
Expect passionate debates, hot takes that cool off immediately, arguments that go nowhere, and the occasional moment of clarity that surprises everyone—including them. Stats may appear. Logic might leave the room. Confidence will always be high.
We’re not analysts. We’re not insiders. We’re definitely not experts.
We’re just two longtime friends talking sports the way most people do—too confidently, for too long, and with absolutely no credentials to back it up.
We’re Not Experts — and neither are you, so you’ll fit right in.

Episode 23 is offseason nonsense at its finest. Rashee Rice heads to jail, Josh Jacobs and Nolan Smith crash out, Stafford and Jack Campbell secure the bag, and Jacoby Brissett saga continues. plus JJ McCarthy vs Kyler rumors, Ben Johnson buying Luther Burden stock, and we think the Falcons QB job is already decided.
We're back. Mike J episode. Two, three of them things. 23. Show don't stop for nothing.
SPEAKER_01Shout out to all the other 23s that are dope.
SPEAKER_03Nah, fuck that. We got a we got a good episode of crash outs today. We'll talk about more than crash outs, but I I'm I think it's hilarious.
SPEAKER_01It's good when you can get some news. Also, there is gonna have to be some news that we didn't touch on last week that we forgot about.
SPEAKER_03Dude, is it not before we start anything? Is it not crazy that it's just always around this time that people just decide to start getting arrested?
SPEAKER_01Man. Like they're just like, oh man, football season's getting close. What would I rather do? Go to jail or OTAs? Yeah. You know, there are some people that don't have a lot of money on the line and can get away with being on probation. Well, actually, they can't even get in this case the justice system kind of works.
SPEAKER_03Oh, I know what we're talking about. We're talking about Rasheed Rice.
SPEAKER_01Yes.
SPEAKER_03Bruh.
SPEAKER_01Look, you're on probation, you smoke pot, you go to jail. Guess what would happen to Justice? I'd have been on probation, I'd have smoked some pot, I'd have went to jail.
SPEAKER_03Like, I don't care that you smoke weed. Like, I get it. I care that you have to be friendly. You have man, you have the chance to make an incredible life-changing amount of money. And all you have to do, Rasheed Rice, is not get in trouble. That's it.
SPEAKER_01It's already bad enough that you skirted away free from the race and crash shit.
SPEAKER_03You got you literally got blessed. Oh, a real blessing. You got a real blessing when it came to it.
SPEAKER_01And they're just like, hey, bro. You're on probation. We're gonna let you off. Just be good.
SPEAKER_03They're like, hey man. Tough it out. They're like, I get it. You live in Kansas City, weed's legal there. It's not legal in the state of Texas. That's where it happened. At we're gonna drug test you. Like, you know you're on probation. You know you're gonna get drug tested. And he's like, fuck it. Man, I'm gonna go get high. They're like, hey, the Kansas City Chiefs hit him up right afterwards, and they were like, Look, man, all you gotta do is not smoke some weed for a couple years, and and you're in the clear. And he was like, Yeah, yeah, I got you. I got you. Now he's And what did he do? He just had knee surgery. He's gonna be rehabbing in jail.
SPEAKER_01Man, what are we doing? That's that's gonna be like a setback. Ain't exactly like they're flying out team physicians. You don't get to go hit the rehab facility. You get to go get like a like a nurse that's making like a 30 days in jail, then sitting over here like, oh man. Knee's gonna be a little stiff.
SPEAKER_03Oh, by the way, it is 30 days in jail if we didn't say that. He's gonna do 30 days in jail for smoking weed. But he doesn't have to go to OTAs. He doesn't. He yeah, he'll get to miss those. Good for him.
SPEAKER_01He'll be back right before the start of B. I think the thing for this is it, is it sucks because my God, he's nice. He yeah, he's so nice.
SPEAKER_03He just got a little Josh Gordon in him. He fits the no, he doesn't. Don't say that.
SPEAKER_02He'd rather get high.
SPEAKER_03Josh Gordon was the man. Rasheed Rice has never been the man like Josh Gordon.
SPEAKER_01Bro, Rasheed Rice before he before Patrick Mahomes took him out.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, he was going nuts. Yeah, but he was he's still gonna get a lot of things.
SPEAKER_01He came back to me last year when he came back after the suspension.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, he went crazy. No, he's been good. Like he's been really good. He fits that system perfectly.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but like now you gotta think, like, you can't, if you're Kansas City, you can't commit to this guy.
SPEAKER_03How could you? How could any team want to commit to this?
SPEAKER_01Because somebody's gonna rather have the talent. But if you're Kansas City, you know.
SPEAKER_03You're right. The commanders are gonna sign him to like a one-year.
SPEAKER_01It's also it sucks for them because it's like, bro, like they've done so much to address the receiver position from the draft, like drafting over the last few years, trying to find a guy, and just they're not.
SPEAKER_02Well, they one of them could be the guy.
SPEAKER_01And that's what sucks for Rasheed Rice. Or the or the channel. I think he is the guy. He can be the guy. The problem is, is fuck. I mean, the man's got a torn ACL, he's crashed a car, he's been to jail, he's now a known drug user.
SPEAKER_03I mean, they don't care about smoking weed in the league.
SPEAKER_01It's like you're gonna fuck it up. If you're Kansas City, you can't pay.
SPEAKER_03Can this be a can this be a can this be in the crash out of the year?
SPEAKER_01I mean no, because he didn't, I mean because he didn't really crash out of the year. He just did some dumb shit.
SPEAKER_03Dumb shit.
SPEAKER_01It's just some dumb shit. Like you can't be stacking dumb shit on top of dumb shit.
SPEAKER_03Like, bro, like we want you to join the BCA. Like, we want you in the club. And you you f you fumble.
SPEAKER_02I mean everybody, everybody.
SPEAKER_01See, like, I feel like you've done a little too much with the BCA. You just everybody that gets a check gets in there. It's just not how it should be. That is. It started out, it started out with being a certain type of player. A player who's who steals the bag?
SPEAKER_02Yes.
SPEAKER_00I don't know.
SPEAKER_03You gotta steal the bag.
SPEAKER_01But that's what they are. They're in the bag collection agency.
SPEAKER_03That's not ethical. I'm looking for ethical bags.
SPEAKER_01No, because if that's the case, everybody that signs a check for a check. I mean, we really Alec Pierce would fall into the category he should be in. He stole a check. No, he is in the he is, but like Jackson Smith and Jigma. He earned the bag.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but he's still there. He's just he's a he's a higher member.
SPEAKER_01No, he's not in the dirt bag. I just feel like the BCA is like a we're we position it as if it's some great thing, which it is. We support people getting paid. I just feel like we've drifted from what the BCA was intended to do.
SPEAKER_03But like you wouldn't say Burk Cousins stole his money.
SPEAKER_01Stole the bag. Yes, he stole in the bag.
SPEAKER_03He stole the bag in the terms of nothing.
SPEAKER_00He definitely stole the bag in Atlanta for sure.
SPEAKER_03Oh, yeah, no, he absolutely stole the bag there. Derek Carr. He's a bag stealer.
SPEAKER_01He's in the BCA.
SPEAKER_03He he's an unethical bag maker.
SPEAKER_01Like you and you put and you're telling me that they need to be in the same category with people like Jackson Smith and Jigbo or no Jackson Smith and Jigba's a platinum member.
SPEAKER_03He's a platinum bag collection agency member.
SPEAKER_01And Derek Carr, are they in like the the brown tier? Yeah, he's like it's below bronze there because they're dirt bags.
SPEAKER_03He's like in the gray tier.
SPEAKER_01They collect the they have gotten bags that they shouldn't in their hearts been like, I deserve this.
SPEAKER_03He's like, but this is for the family.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Well, look.
SPEAKER_00They couldn't play for, you know, they couldn't be BCA members with me.
SPEAKER_03Rasheed Rice would 100% become part of the unethical side of the BCA.
SPEAKER_01He's not gonna get the bag like that. He's gonna get like a $20, $25 million deal. He's not gonna get a BCA bag. He would have. He's not gonna get a Trent McDuffie bag at his position. He would have. He would have, though. That's the thing. Bro, I don't think the Chiefs were paying Rasheed Rice at Jason.
SPEAKER_03No, maybe not the Chiefs, but like if he would have kept on the trajectory that he was on, yeah, for sure. He was bro, he was balling. He was balling out of control. He would have gotten paid by the Jags. The Jets.
SPEAKER_01The Jets would have paid him.
SPEAKER_03The Giants.
SPEAKER_01No. Who knows? The Giants don't even pay Wandale Robinson.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but there's a big difference between Rasheed Rice and Wandell.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, one of them doesn't get in trouble.
SPEAKER_03One of them doesn't. One of them isn't on probation. That's probably enough Rasheed Rice. Dude, you're an idiot. We wanted you to get a bag. You're not gonna get a bag anymore. Congratulations. Here's a good one. Matter of fact, I'm gonna skip Nolan Smith. How about this, brother? I don't love this because it's not good that he did this. It's just funny that it carries over to the league.
SPEAKER_01Hey, bruh.
SPEAKER_03And the funniest part about this, I haven't said what he's done yet. The funny part about this is it happened in Georgia. Okay. Now that I've said that it's happened in Georgia, you know exactly what he did.
SPEAKER_01I knew exactly what he did when I saw where he was from.
SPEAKER_03They only do one thing. They drive fast. They drive fast. They're trying to be on the F1 circuit.
SPEAKER_01Hey, what are they gonna do like a like a like a NASCAR version of the WWE? Have you ever uh it'd be like they should do like the banana ball, but it's just Georgia football players on NASCAR tracks. That's hilarious.
SPEAKER_03That's hilarious. You think uh have you ever seen the movie Grand Trismo?
SPEAKER_01No, you have a movie guy.
SPEAKER_03So it you know the video game, right? Yeah, okay. So real quick, it's just a you know, it's it's real story. Guy played the game a lot, ends up winning a competition, gets to go to this uh academy that Grand Frismo puts on with Nissan, wins it, and now he's a professional race car driver.
SPEAKER_01Fire.
SPEAKER_03What if yeah, fire? A great movie, by the way. You should watch it. You should check it out.
SPEAKER_01Sounds kind of kind of solid.
SPEAKER_03You should you should check it out. What what if what if they just watched that movie and were like, I mean, if I drive fast in real life, I would think that's a better that's you know, like they would be like, hey, why not do it?
SPEAKER_01This dude's got real life.
SPEAKER_03He's like, this dude has real life experience in going at high rates of speed.
SPEAKER_00They have a draft, it's based on your speed tickets.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, what was it 135? What is he going 135?
SPEAKER_00Hey, bro.
SPEAKER_03And uh was it a 55? 135 and a 55 of the day. Why do that? I just don't understand. Do you know what time of the day that it was happening at? I'm gonna assume it wasn't I'm gonna assume it was a late night, if I had to guess. So you like I don't know what time of the day is.
SPEAKER_01I just think if there's anything that you shouldn't do, it's just drive that fast.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, for what?
SPEAKER_01If there's you know, some things I could understand being like, oh okay.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, tell me his wife was having a baby.
SPEAKER_01That's even then I'm not going 135. I'm gonna be calling the police and be like, here's where I am. Like, I kind of need an escort. This is like a life or death situation, right? Like, meet me here, and I'm going here kind of fast.
SPEAKER_03He's like, I'm not calling the feds. Bro, 135 is crazy. Imagine trying to imagine pulling over.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's just a joy ride for him. They're like, What are you doing?
SPEAKER_03All he's like, I'm just I'm just on a cruise, man.
SPEAKER_01It's almost like they have like a speeding class at Georgia.
SPEAKER_03You think they you think that Kirby Smart talks about it? You think he you think he recruits a kid to Georgia now? And he's like, Look, man, what kind of car do you want to drive?
SPEAKER_01What kind of car do you want your ticket in?
SPEAKER_03Like, no, it's not even that. He's like asking kids like what are they like what do they strive to own? And if they're if they say anything other than like a Toyota Camera, he's like, I just don't think you're a good fit for this team. He's like, You sure you don't want to be? He's like, man, maybe you should try Alabama or something.
SPEAKER_02No, they encourage that.
SPEAKER_03I just can't, I just can't understand it. Doesn't make any sense because at some point, at some point, all these players from Georgia that get arrested for reckless drive. I don't like it's like it's definitely a culture problem, correct? Like at some point, after enough people have done this.
SPEAKER_01I just think it's I it's like an the fact that so many people do it, and it's like, golly, it's like all you need is the headline. Georgia player arrested. I don't even need to see the link.
SPEAKER_03It's never domestic violence.
SPEAKER_01Never. I know what it is, and if it's anything else, I'm surprised. I'd almost be appalled. I'd be like, ah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it's like you expect like you expect it to be a speeding, like some type of speeding violation.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03That led to an arrest. Normally it's a ticket.
SPEAKER_01Just want to know why he drove that fast.
SPEAKER_03Like you expect it at Georgia, just like you expect like a basketball player at Alabama to sell drugs. Or murder some.
SPEAKER_01Or like an LSU or Ohio State receiver to be good. You know, that that's just like a hundred percent hit rate.
SPEAKER_03Some things are given. We were talking before the pod about how if LeBron played any other sport, he would just be sick at that too. Like it's a given.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Like it's it's it's a guarantee. Like, I I wonder if, like, okay, if like, you know, and this would probably be awful. If we could get like some predictions market action on like Georgia players to get arrested. Arrested for speeding this offseason.
SPEAKER_03You say that, but like it's probably it'd probably be high. No seven the odds wouldn't be great, would they? I'm betting a hundred bucks and winning fifty.
SPEAKER_01I'd want to buy into that though.
SPEAKER_03I just, you know, we don't support prediction markets.
SPEAKER_01No.
SPEAKER_03We think it's we think it's soft. It's dirty, it's targeting. It is. Nobody wins.
SPEAKER_01No. Except the big show. I think the cool thing about the predictions market is it's pretty much like you're it's like the stocks where like you're buying against somebody else directly.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, there's a there's a bunch of crazy stories about shit from the predictions market.
SPEAKER_01But it's just like I just feel like that's so easily manipulated.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Right. Right.
SPEAKER_01Like what would be stupid.
SPEAKER_03Like I'm gonna go and bet. Like, I'm gonna go, like, if I was going to a World Cup game and I could bet that there's gonna be a pitch invader for that game. Like, why would I not be like, why would I not put everything that I own and just go be the guy? Or pay the person to be a guy.
SPEAKER_01Hey, you're gonna go to jail, but I'm not thinking I put ten million dollars on.
SPEAKER_03I'll bail you out, I'll get you a lawyer.
SPEAKER_01You're gonna go sit in jail, but I'm gonna go put ten million dollars on this like we'll get you out of this. Right.
SPEAKER_03Like, like we'll get you out of this, but like I promise.
SPEAKER_01I just need a free eight million dollars, and it's gonna change your life too, and the whole world's gonna see you. Yeah, right. I just, you know, like you're gonna get tackled. It's gonna hurt, you're gonna get paid. And guess what? I would hope that you would do that and be look out for me.
SPEAKER_03I hope you got some elusiveness for you.
SPEAKER_01I bro. Look, all I gotta do is run out there.
SPEAKER_03Man, I might run out there, and as soon as we couldn't do that for me, I'd be like, oh, we couldn't do it because now it's on a pod, so they'd hear it and they'd be like, you know, but we could go and tell somebody, not with zero phone communication, and being like, hey. This is just a hypothetical. Yeah, I'm not saying I'm gonna do that.
SPEAKER_01We're not gonna do this.
SPEAKER_03I don't even have the money to do this.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, now you know, I'd probably do that for ten dollars.
SPEAKER_03Would you consider this a crash out? Yeah, you know what? It is a crash out. Anytime you're an NFL player and you're doing stupid shit that could jeopardize your career, it's a crash out. Congratulations, Nolan Smith. You are nominated. It just goes to crash out of the year.
SPEAKER_01For me, it's just the severity of what can happen. Like, you know, at that at that speed, it's not gonna, it can't end well if something bad happens.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, 100%.
SPEAKER_01100% you're going that fast, and it's just all it takes is just like a you know, you as much as you know, not literally, but you know, something like running over a rock. Man, and you're fucked. You know, you get off your path like slightly, and you're just you're absolutely correct. You try to correct, and now you're flipped 15 times into a tree. Or worse, irresponsible for your life for your for some other people's lives, 100%.
SPEAKER_03The bag. Look, as a person that dealt in that industry for a long time, I uh that shit's a lot.
SPEAKER_01Not only that, but you got a little racing in your history.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah, a little bit. And uh last crash out, but certainly not the least crash out, maybe the most of the crash out.
SPEAKER_01Absolutely is the most. It's probably the only legitimate crash out.
SPEAKER_03I this is crazy to me. Josh Jacobs, they asked him what he planned on doing in the offseason, and he said, I'm gonna go beat my girlfriend. Man. What are we doing? What are you doing, brother?
SPEAKER_01Right before the season starts, man. It's just that time of year, man. You know, they're starting to work out harder, you know. Testosterone's high.
SPEAKER_03You think you think he's on some some type of human growth warm up?
SPEAKER_01I think he went through her phone.
SPEAKER_03Is that what happened for real?
SPEAKER_01I mean, that'd be the only thing that I could think. As a man, I think I I mean I can't think of any reason why I would want to beat shit or toke or anything like that. My significant other.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, the uh the the language they used was strangled. He strangled her.
SPEAKER_01Obviously, this is all alleged, so hopefully that he did it.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah, hopefully it's not true. I hope it's not true. That kind of makes it even more fucked up, though, if she was capping. Yeah. It's a crazy thing to lie to. Is you never know. You do never know. You do never know. I mean if he did that, fuck Josh Jacobs. I mean, if he did it. See, the here's the problem.
SPEAKER_01I don't like that he'd be able to bounce back from it.
SPEAKER_03Here, well, no.
SPEAKER_01I shouldn't have to see how like the Ray Rice situation.
SPEAKER_03Right. This so if there were but this is the thing. Is if there was a video if a video came out tomorrow and it was Josh Jacobs fucking strangling this bitch. It's over. It's over. Yeah, it's over. But here's the thing, he probably wouldn't play another down.
SPEAKER_01Let's just say he pleads guilty to a lesser charge to not face you know whatever the highest charge for that is. Yeah, like he's got a passion. That should be enough to lose your career. Because like, why didn't you know?
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Especially when it's just, you know, I could say so many things. Fuck it, I'm taking it there. If we can get mad at people for saying, oh, that's gay, or call somebody the F word, or be or John Gruden situation, losing his coaching career because of something shit like that. Or if you say something racist or to those other groups. We should have violence against women looked at the same thing. Because the exact same way.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it is kind of crazy that it's not.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, bro. Like they're not gonna be able to do it. None of this got arrested. Maybe things like that would stop amongst the athletes if they actually like face the c consequence of losing your career.
SPEAKER_03Does this sound fucked up? I don't know.
SPEAKER_01You get a domestic violence charge, your career's over.
SPEAKER_03I don't know if the domestic violence charges are ever gonna stop.
SPEAKER_01Well, good then guess what? There's a good chance we'd have a lot less pieces of shit in the league.
SPEAKER_03There's a good chance that these dudes like crazy bitches.
SPEAKER_01Just shows you they don't care. The NFL doesn't care about women.
SPEAKER_03You gotta think, you gotta think these guys are taking a wild risk. So why would they not want their love life to also be a risk? You know what I mean? What if they're just addicted to adrenaline?
SPEAKER_01I look at myself in that situation, and I'm just like, man, if I'm Josh Jacobs, if I'm an NFL player and I'm rich and I got millions of dollars, I really don't think there's anything a female could do to piss me off. Yeah, like we say that. Like, like I agree with you. It ain't much my woman now is, and I'm broke as fuck. It ain't shit my woman can do really now to piss me off.
SPEAKER_03Like, I get what you're saying. Because like I I feel the same way, but we're also not like running into each other's heads at full speed, you know, 30 times a day.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but it's already bad enough that I've got CTE. I don't need bit female problems.
SPEAKER_03Well, I'm just saying, like, they get addicted to this risk, like they're taking this risk every day. Every day that they go out there, then it's a contact practice, it's a risk, right?
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Like they just get addicted to that. They get addicted, they just want that all the time. They're just like, look, she's hot, and I'm gonna risk it.
SPEAKER_01I'm just I just like you know, I'm not trying to put myself in any kind of bad situation. I just can't see myself being rich. I just the thing that I'm putting myself in a bad position.
SPEAKER_03The thing that baffles me the most about it is like you know, what is he, 27? Like, he could still probably get another contract. It's over now.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Unless it's like complete hobwash.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I mean, look, Tyree Kill's still in the league. Uh no, he's not. Well, I mean, he's not signed because of his knee. Not because he's been Beating the fuck out of people. Because he's been doing this shit. I was about to say. And like he did that shit in college. Yeah, I was about to say. And guess what? If he wasn't injured, he'd still have a job. And I don't like that, bro. Like, I just don't like that.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, he's an ass.
SPEAKER_01If I was the owner of a team, if if I owned if I owned the Green Bay Packers, I'm walking into my GM's office and I say, this motherfucker's out of here. Let's trade him. Yeah, we'll we'll trade him. We're gonna try to get something back if somebody else wants it. We're not gonna drop him for free. Right. And we'll keep him on our team and we just won't play him until somebody trades for him. He don't get to. We're not gonna lose you for nothing, buddy.
SPEAKER_03But we that concludes our this week's version of Crash Outs. Let's hope the trend continues. Unless it's a Titans player. Let's hope that's not happening.
SPEAKER_01I hope not. Especially not Cam Ward or Carnell Tate or anybody else that's good.
SPEAKER_03I uh so from here on out, I'm just gonna ask you if this person gets to join the BCA. You're just gonna become the ultimate, you're gonna become the guy at the gate. You're gonna be the guy at the game.
SPEAKER_01I can't because you're gonna try like because I'm just gonna like I'm gonna turn down some people.
SPEAKER_03That's okay. Maybe it's a maybe it's an exclusive club.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I'm gonna kick some people out then. If you're gonna let me like control the gate, we gotta get some people that are causing trouble inside the club out of it. We gotta kick them out.
SPEAKER_03All right, that's ban them. That's fine. First, uh first nominee for the BCA is Matthew Stafford. I'm gonna say no. He because he has earned his bag. One year 55 mil. Yikes. That's a lot of money. He's old. I get it.
SPEAKER_01What is your takeaway from that deal? Do you like the deal? Yeah, I mean, I get it. Pay him his bread. He earned it. If I'm Matt Stafford, I'm honestly pissed. Why? Because I've signed an extension and you drafted a fucking quarterback and I'm here for two more years now.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it's yeah, that's fine. Maybe maybe they've watched Ty Simpson practice and said he's not a one year project. It's not a one-year project, Matthew. It might be a two-year project.
SPEAKER_01I don't think minicap would have been that thing.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, no, maybe it was. Maybe Sean McVeigh saw him throw live and in person. He's like, look, man, you got he's like, look, man, you got pooking the coup out here. You can't fuck this up. And he goes out there and he fucks with me.
SPEAKER_01I like it from the perspective of like you get Ty Simpson as a project. Like I feel like now when he comes into this league, he better be like it better be transition from Stafford to Simpson, like seamless. Like I needed to look like Matthew Stafford is still out here.
SPEAKER_03Right. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Because I mean you just invested too high of a pick. So like if he comes out after two years of sitting behind Stafford and he sucks, then you're fucked.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, for sure. Yeah, well, I mean, look, anytime you miss on a QB that high, it sets you back.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_03But I mean, you just gotta hope it works.
SPEAKER_01For Ty Simpson, I like it because you get him in a Sean McVay system, so he's gonna be able to learn it. He's gonna be able to sit behind somebody who's played this game at a high level, who's won a Super Bowl, who's an MVP. And seems like, you know, I I've I don't think Matthew Stafford is, I don't think I've seen a bad thing about Stafford in his entire career. Other than the fact that he's from Georgia, he's a little bitch. He probably drives faster. He did some hoe shit. You share that shit about what his wife? No. Some shit like that back in college. No, what'd he do? Maybe she like cheated on him or some shit like that.
SPEAKER_03I mean, you know, he's still loving it.
SPEAKER_01Or said that he like wanted his friend or instead of her or him or some shit like that. Oh man. Yeah, whatever. Either way, Matthew Stafford, great guy. So, you know. Ethical bag.
SPEAKER_03Man, one of the few players from Georgia that don't speed. Oh, well, I mean, you sent me a photo a couple days ago that had all the Georgia players. And they fill every position but one. Literally every position. 21 of 22 positions. Do you know what that one was? Quarterback. You are correct. Yep, so Matthew Stafford's not a big speeder, or he just hasn't got caught yet.
SPEAKER_01Matthew Stafford's probably well, Matthew Stafford's smart.
SPEAKER_03He probably has someone speed for him.
SPEAKER_01It wasn't my fault.
SPEAKER_03I know this dude's not going to join the BCA, but I'm a big Jack Campbell fan. Congrats to you, brother. He awesome. I like Jack Campbell. He's a dog. Yeah, he's a dog.
SPEAKER_01He deserved to get paid, though.
SPEAKER_03He did. Yeah, no, he didn't steal nothing. He earned that bag. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01The earned bag collection is different. Like that's a different, like that should be a different side.
SPEAKER_03Man, we're gonna have to make it only the or maybe we can just rename it.
SPEAKER_01And like the people that get paid should be in the BCA. And then we have the bag finesser agency or some association or some shit like that. You know, the BFA.
SPEAKER_03The BFA.
SPEAKER_01The stolen bag.
SPEAKER_03Oh my goodness. It needs to almost be four letters.
SPEAKER_01The SBCA.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_01The stolen bag collection agency.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Kirk Cousins not there.
SPEAKER_01Not there.
SPEAKER_03He well, he's there for one of the stops. This is something that I I would like to get to. I think this is a funny story, but kind of crazy at the same time. It's the Jacoby Brissette. The Jacoby Brissett thing is kind of crazy.
SPEAKER_01I haven't, bro.
SPEAKER_03You haven't looked into this?
SPEAKER_01So before we get into this, the reason why I haven't seen any of these things. A lot of this, I've been a little slacking on the news side of it, is, you know, you know this man, but I'm a man who wears many hats. Alright. You know, I am a podcaster. I'm a software engineer. I'm a dad. You know, I'm a sales rep for a large communications company. You know, in the past couple weeks, bro, we added another hat.
SPEAKER_03What was that?
SPEAKER_01This one comes with a little straw and some overalls.
SPEAKER_03He's a farmer.
SPEAKER_01Brother.
SPEAKER_03He's a farmer, man.
SPEAKER_01I'm a farmer, man. I got a I got plants. I got seeds in the ground. I had to get back to my roots.
SPEAKER_03Do you feel good?
SPEAKER_01Bro, I feel I feel like I feel like I'm a part of the backbone of this country.
SPEAKER_03You are. You absolutely are, man.
SPEAKER_01I appreciate it.
SPEAKER_03You're an essential, you're an essential part of this country.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Essentials.
SPEAKER_01I need my benefits. And when my crop doesn't produce, I need my insurance money.
SPEAKER_03But it's the it's look, this is the good thing about us, brothers. One of if one of us slacks, the other one's always gonna pick up the weight. That's what we do.
SPEAKER_01And I get to learn something. So I get to be surprised by some of these things. Because we talked about none of this.
SPEAKER_03So, you know, you know, you're my dog, bro. We're not gonna, we're not letting this thing fail.
SPEAKER_01I appreciate that.
SPEAKER_03We're we're a we're the ultimate duo. We're a team. It's a it's it's about us. Yeah, bro. There ain't no I in team. Absolutely not. So I got us. I got us. I've done I've done some I've done some I've done a little research into this. All right. So you know, Jacoby Brissett said, I don't know, I guess it was a month or so ago, that he he wasn't gonna report because he wanted a new contract if he was gonna be a starter.
SPEAKER_01So he wants to be a member.
SPEAKER_03He wants to be yeah, now this would he would absolutely join the unethical version.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, he's a qualifier.
SPEAKER_03Even though he did go crazy.
SPEAKER_00So it's just so so keep going, keep going.
SPEAKER_03So he he says that he's he's not gonna report, he's not gonna practice or play unless he gets some a big bag. He said he wants a starter's bag. Fuck. If he's gonna be a starter, he's gonna get a starter's bag. Now, it's crazy to me that his agent would be like, yeah, this is a good move, right? Like what leverage does Jacoby Bursett have to sit over here and be like, hey, Arizona, I know y'all want to be bad, and y'all got a ton of cash room, so just pay me some money.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but does he want a one-year deal?
SPEAKER_03I don't know. I mean, it's not I don't know how clear it is, like how what the what the length of the deal is. I mean, he's 33 years old. Not that that's like old as dirt for quarterbacks, but we're he's not he's also not a Jacoby Brasil. Yeah, like he's not an elite level quarterback. He's not Gino Smith. He's oh, that's crazy. Maybe statistically, he probably had a better year than Gino.
SPEAKER_01Hold on, hold on, hold on. I'm talking about from a resurgence at that age perspective.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, oh yeah, true.
SPEAKER_01Gino was old, older. Because what's Gino, what, 36? So Gino was 33 when he emerged as the guy in Seattle, and I think I think Gino was better than what I've seen from Jacoby Brissett. Oh, I mean, look, that was Gino balled out that year.
SPEAKER_03Legitimately balled out. Yeah. I mean, his accuracy was insane. And if you ask Kevin Stefansky, buddy, that's all that matters. But yeah, so Jacoby Brissett says, I'm not, I'm not pla practicing. The Cardinals are like, yo, we're not gonna pay you. Like, we're not gonna pay you. Shout out to them.
SPEAKER_01I I like I like that.
SPEAKER_03Well, I mean, if I was the Cardinals, if I was the Cardinals, I'm not fucking, I'm not paying you either.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Fuck that. Matter of fact, I'm saying fuck you.
SPEAKER_03Is Jacoby Brissett the difference? No. And what two wins and three wins? Right. Like, can and then this is the other thing. Can Jacoby Brissett get traded anywhere else in the league and be a starter?
SPEAKER_01No. Like just because you you think you're just because you're my starter for now. Like you're our starter because we want a good good replacement.
SPEAKER_03So it's it's the most Arizona Cardinal thing in the world that a backup quarterback is holding them hostage for more money to be their starter.
SPEAKER_01And guess what? This could work out. This could work out for Arizona.
SPEAKER_03You think?
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Fuck yeah. Because Jacoby Brissett's gonna be like, I mean, he's old, so like nobody's about to be like, oh man, we're gonna build around Jacoby Brissett. So like he's not gonna, he's gonna go be a stopgap anywhere.
SPEAKER_03This is just, are you excited? Are you excited because this could give your boy a chance?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's what I was just about to say. Not I don't, I mean, you know, shout out Carson Beck.
SPEAKER_03I don't think I don't I I don't actually think you're a big Carson Beck fan. I think you're just a fan of Miami.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. I mean, shout out Carson Beck for taking us to the chip, but also we watched that game. We were recording an episode of this podcast when he lost us the fucking championship by throwing a pick.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_01That we saw in coming in real time. I uh but but I think from an from an organizational standpoint, you have nothing else on your roster. So like at this point, if I'm the Cardinals, I'm not even I'm the ain't no coming back. I just I'd be like, bro, we're not we've said we've said we're not paying you. You said oh you're gonna hold down. Now you want to backtrack. No, let me see what I have in this third. Somebody will they invest a third, was it a third round pick?
SPEAKER_03I think it was a third.
SPEAKER_01So you invested a third round pick in them. So you you know day three. Let's just see what let's just see if we got a Dak Prescott on our hands. They draft a third round or a Kirk Cousins.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, no, I mean look, like let's see. It doesn't really seem he's young. I mean, and if he's trash, guess what?
SPEAKER_01Your team sucks. You're in a what everybody thinks is about to be a great quarterback.
SPEAKER_03It's just crazy because like how much better is Jacoby Brissett than Gardner Minshew? Like that would be the technical backup.
SPEAKER_01None? I mean, I wouldn't want either of them.
SPEAKER_03Right, but like if you had to start one, like I'd rather play Carson Beck.
SPEAKER_01Oh, I mean, hell, whoever.
SPEAKER_03Like, I would probably rather start Jacoby, but I don't think it's by a lot. I mean, like it's not by a wide margin.
SPEAKER_01We saw Gardner Minshew magic. Minshew's had some moments.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I mean, dude, the dude Brissett was ass in Indy.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, he was. I mean, Jacoby Brissett's had his moments too.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03I just that's my point, though, is that that's like they're not that far apart.
SPEAKER_01But it goes back. Here's the thing, here's the thing. You have no quarterback either way. So why the fuck are we paying? Why would the fucking phone?
SPEAKER_03It's the old saying, brother. It's the old saying. If you got two quarterbacks, you really got zero. Man.
SPEAKER_01Well, in this case, you have zero quarterbacks, and you're trying to pay one as if he is one.
SPEAKER_03No, he wants to get paid as if he is one. I get it from his point. But like, bro, how to stretch. He wanted he wants an unethical bag.
SPEAKER_01I get it. He wants a bag, not because they were good, but because he made Michael Wilson look good.
SPEAKER_03Well, yeah, he did put up some gaudy numbers.
SPEAKER_01He made Marvin Harrison Bucardio.
SPEAKER_03He ruined his stock. Hey, look, if we're being honest, though, like on the fanny fantasy perspective, like this is devastating for Arizona. Like, because if Jacoby Brissett's the guy, it's gonna be magic. And this is why it's gonna be fantasy gold all year long for everybody involved.
SPEAKER_01And this is honestly why, and I'm pretty sure I said this in a conversation with you. They should have just kept Kyler Murray.
SPEAKER_03Yo, you know what? We can we can jump straight to that. I did you watch that clip I sent you earlier? No. You didn't? I didn't get a chance to. I uh I've been slammed. Look, just watch it and we'll be we'll be right back.
SPEAKER_02I'm so weak, bro.
SPEAKER_03We're back. So you you've you've seen the clip.
SPEAKER_02Oh my god.
SPEAKER_03So you've seen the clip.
SPEAKER_01Get JJ McCarthy the fuck out of the NFL.
SPEAKER_03I didn't think it was possible to be worse at interviewing than he was at playing quarterback.
SPEAKER_02But oh my god. So so look, in this situation, in this situation.
SPEAKER_03To give everybody some perspective, there was a video, there was a video that came out, and it was a reporter asking how it's been with JJ, and vice versa. They asked JJ how it's been with Kyler. And Kyler gave a pretty professional answer, you know, the veteran answer, hey, I'm gonna help him out with anything they need help with, or competitors, blah blah blah. And uh JJ, JJ said that it's like sitting in a classroom in high school across the room from him, and it's the coach's job to teach the players, bro.
SPEAKER_01I don't know if I've Get him out of the league.
SPEAKER_03I don't know if I've heard a more salty answer in my life.
SPEAKER_01Get him out of the league.
SPEAKER_03How are you this salty? How are you how are you this salty? We're like what first of all you're gonna do.
SPEAKER_01If you would have been worth a fuck, they wouldn't have brought in a Kyler Murray.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, you have nobody to be mad at but yourself. You're even lucky that they're calling it a competition. For real. I mean, I think Kevin O'Connell will have it will be an actual competition, but it's it's not like it's gonna be much of a competition.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Fuck. I can't. I hate, I I don't know, like I feel like that situation is so like hims doing that one makes him look awful. It does. Right. Like first, it just shows me if I'm the Vikings, I'm like, oh, this this guy needs to be off the team. It's a like seriously, because like one, this guy, you this guy can't be a leader.
SPEAKER_03Well, it definitely shows that he lacks maturity.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. You don't say that shit, you keep that shit in the locker room.
SPEAKER_03Right, like you can't handle this like a pro.
SPEAKER_01Especially when Kyler Murray's coming in here. And you know, I feel like I feel like it's just if that relationship is that way because of JJ McCarthy knows he's not the guy.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Like Kyler Murray doesn't have to have that no weird relationship because he's like, alright, it's my job.
SPEAKER_03He knows he's the guy.
SPEAKER_01But it's like if you're JJ McCarthy, like part of it is is you got out, you should be looking at they brought him in here to be the quarterback because of me and my performance.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Like if anything.
SPEAKER_01Instead of using that as like a a fuel. Yeah, you're like salty about it, and then you come out here and they ask you on camera, and you say, and that's your response to that, like it lacks maturity. Like, it shows me that you're actually you're not a leader.
SPEAKER_03Let me ask you something.
SPEAKER_01It's it's a bad I feel like that can be a bad locker room presence.
SPEAKER_03Oh, let me ask you something. It was that JJ McCarthy or was that nine?
SPEAKER_01That was nine. That was that was nine answer.
SPEAKER_03That was a nine, that was a nine answer, wasn't it?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Somebody just don't give a fuck. It's a real loser's mentality. Yeah. That's what that that's what that it makes me think that college football's rigged because I don't know how they won that championship.
SPEAKER_01They had a great defense and a running game and an offensive line and Jim Harbaugh.
SPEAKER_03And no dog. No dog at the QB position.
SPEAKER_01Didn't need it. He gives off, he gives off his defense was too nuts. He gives off fake dog vibes. You know that? Yeah, he he I would like, he's so done. Like chihuahua vibes. It's just crazy to think of, and it's it's funny just how many of them, like sometimes you can see it, and I feel like, and I'll say it with a few of them, like you could see that people like JJ McCarthy coming out of the draft. Like, I would have never drafted him.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, probably not.
SPEAKER_01Like, I didn't see anything in him as a prospect that was like this guy's a top 10 pick.
SPEAKER_03So, like, he can make all the throws.
SPEAKER_01Michael Penix wouldn't have been an option for me.
SPEAKER_03Never.
SPEAKER_01Like he I wouldn't have even considered drafting him.
SPEAKER_03Never. Especially not with the injuries.
SPEAKER_01Well, it's just because we sit over here and watch you like not really be great. You remember, didn't he play for Indiana? That's where he started.
SPEAKER_03No, look, first off, I'm not gonna say that. He was a stud man.
SPEAKER_01He was nice, yeah, but he got hurt and then got hurt again, didn't he?
SPEAKER_03I think he tore his ACL three times.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, he was old. He looked good in Washington.
SPEAKER_03I uh look, before we before we go on to Michael Penix Jr., because I do have something to say about him. I want you to know this, that Chris Oladucan, remember him?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03He uh he had a better QBR than JJ McCarthy. Just thought I'd let you know. He played one game. On to on so the the uh you know they said in Atlanta, Kevin Stefansky said there was gonna be a good competition between Michael Penix Jr. and Tua. Buddy.
SPEAKER_00I'm so weak.
SPEAKER_03The glazing of Tua Tungavailoa is bananas to me.
SPEAKER_01That's so I mean that's what you're supposed to do as a coach. The innate God-given ability of his accuracy is that but and here's the thing there were always two things that Tua did have is was he was good with the timing and accuracy. The problem is it could look Tua could not be cooked.
SPEAKER_03You don't think so?
SPEAKER_01I mean, it could have just been Mike McDaniel, like it just could have just been like that shit wearing on him.
SPEAKER_03Well, I don't know if it's Mike McDaniel wearing on him.
SPEAKER_01The situation, like I mean, you know, or him getting a lot of shit that went on. Yeah. But that's in that type of offense, though.
SPEAKER_03Maybe his brain's just scrambled.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it could be. It could very well be. The shit he was saying on the pod and or on the mics and the press conferences and shit. Wild. I mean, there's a you know, I my thing is you'd say that there's a competition between those guys, and I've seen both of them be ass. Like, that doesn't excite me as an Atlanta Falcon.
SPEAKER_03There's a there's a there's a good prediction to go put in if you're on prediction markets. Tua will be the starting quarterback come week one. I think he should. Well, no, I shouldn't say that because he Michael Penix might not even be back from the the ACL. He will be the starting quarterback all year long, no matter what.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and then man, just think that dude when they when they signed Kirk Cousins and then drafted Penix when they could have done so much with that eighth pick. Man, guy bro fired. What a terrible decision.
SPEAKER_03What an awful decision. Those are the that's what we mean though. Those are the decisions that can set a franchise back.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and that's why like I'm like, but when you look at these guys, if I'm in a gym room, like I don't see that like I watch these people play college football, right? Like obviously I'm not a scout, but like I can I know like this person was good. Like you got some BK.
SPEAKER_03Like, yeah, you can just see the difference between like you're not a professional scout or a coach or anything, but you got some BK.
SPEAKER_01Right, yeah. Like I can like and I can see if I'm a you're not an expert. If I can not in the slightest bit, but When I s like when I see teams doing these things and I think like even the conversation we had before even before these, like when people are we talk about people getting drafted here so and so like this part of the draft, you're like, oh man, that's an awful draft. Like that's an awful pick. Like even before it gets here. Like I'm not in hanging my hat on a quarterback that I can't see being that guy, but I draft him that high because I need a quarterback.
SPEAKER_03Or you have to take a chance. Or a quarterback that throws left-handed.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, like even with yeah, facts.
SPEAKER_03I'm not touching a quarterback that throws left-handed.
SPEAKER_01It's weird. Just it don't even look right.
SPEAKER_03It does. Everything is everything looks backwards. It just looks unathletic. To be honest. I'm not saying I'm the most athletic guy in the world or anything. No way.
SPEAKER_01No, but you know, fuck that. I gotta say fuck you for that. Because both of my kids are left-handed.
SPEAKER_03That's just not a good, they're not gonna be quarterbacks, hopefully.
SPEAKER_02Hold on, hold on, man. If Oliver was a quarterback, bro, that'd be lit.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I just wouldn't be a big fan. I'm kidding. I'm getting I'd let my bias go.
SPEAKER_01Just for him.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, for sure. I would I would say that. Hey, but guess what?
SPEAKER_01We'd have to hold him accountable. You know, we'd have to get on the pod. Well, we just wouldn't talk about if I was a podcaster, my son was a trash quarterback in the league.
SPEAKER_03We just would avoid the conversation. We just wouldn't discuss it. Yeah. Well, I would just be like, look, Justin. Justin's taking the show off today. Uh I'ma just go in on him.
SPEAKER_01And then you gotta see him.
SPEAKER_03Like, you'll have me write down your talking points, and I'll just go down your talking points. That's funny. A couple couple things to note before we end this. Our our our fantasy rookie draft is Sunday. I made some moves in the fantasy world. You did. Are you excited? We're gonna get the gang together, hopefully, here at the it's gonna it's gonna be fun.
SPEAKER_01I'm looking forward to hopping in the pool.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I uh I'm pretty excited about it actually. I uh a lot.
SPEAKER_01Nothing to be excited about from a draft perspective, but the vibes.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, the vibes will be high. Draft days are always fun regardless. I always enjoy it. I I put in a lot of work in the offseason when it comes to drafting, so it's fun.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and I figure for somebody to have the first round pick, you'd be you'd be a little more like, oh, I need to find me a diamond in the rough in this position.
SPEAKER_03Buddy, I've tried.
SPEAKER_01Just ain't there.
SPEAKER_03I just don't know. Just doesn't show up to the big thing. And there might just be a bunch of pieces of hay.
SPEAKER_01I've been trying to like no needle. I've been trying I've been trying to couple my little too late first to turn into something higher, but ever nobody everybody seems to know that this draft class is awful.
SPEAKER_03It's not great.
SPEAKER_01And I made a terrible trade, by the way, but I did it to for the betterment of the league. Some would say my team was too good.
SPEAKER_03That's crazy. I don't believe in this. I don't I don't believe in helping somebody out because they made bad decisions.
SPEAKER_01Hey man. It wasn't that it's it wasn't that I'm like I did it to help them out. I did it one for because the players that I got rid of were older. Yeah, I get that. And Quentin Johnston. But I'm just like, eh, okay.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, he doesn't count.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, right. So I'm just like, I can get two first rounds. Like if he was to collect a batch. I can stash them on the bench on the taxi. So if they're trash, they can just sit there and I can give them time. Because some of these players are gonna take time. Well, like you're not expecting that second round pick to come out as a rookie and be a thousand yard receiver.
SPEAKER_03I'm gonna be honest with you, brother. There's not a second round pick on the draft that I expect to do much of anything.
SPEAKER_01No, I'm talking about like a like like a the like the pick that I'm gonna have in 11 or 12 is gonna be like a second round pick, like Jeremy Bernard, for example.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but that's a third or fourth round wide receiver.
SPEAKER_01That's a second round pick. Yeah, but he got drafted in the second round.
SPEAKER_03Did he?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's why I said it was a second round pick.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Like that's somebody that you can. And it's to a place that I don't like. Or Zachariah Branch.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Or like, you know, I afford to take a flyer, bro. It's my unit. My team's sick.
SPEAKER_03Right. Yeah, no.
SPEAKER_01I got Carnell Tate coming.
SPEAKER_03I get it. I get it. I'm excited. Pause.
SPEAKER_00Big pause.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, no, I'm excited. I just had to mention it because I'm I'm pretty hype about it. Wallace has Ted McMillan on the on the trade box. And a dunze. Yeah, he's unrealistic too.
SPEAKER_01So what does he want?
SPEAKER_03Don't get too excited. I don't know. I just know Wallow. I just know Wallow. I also know that he's not going to listen to this, so I can say whatever I want.
SPEAKER_01And if he does listen, I'm going to trade a Marv and two first round, the 11 and 12 for Tet.
SPEAKER_03I wouldn't make that trade.
SPEAKER_01If you were Wallow?
SPEAKER_03No, if I were you.
SPEAKER_01Why?
SPEAKER_03I probably wouldn't. No, I mean, look, it depends on who plays. If Jacoby Brissett plays, yeah, I actually I do believe in Marv. If it's Carson Beck, I do not believe in Marv. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And that's the thing. People forget about Marv, though. And before he got hurt, he was trending to be better than he was his rookie year.
SPEAKER_03But look, I also think that if if Jacoby Brissett plays like Michael Wilson's gonna be a good receiver. Like Michael Wilson's gonna be a stud. Yeah. I mean, he was on pace like he was on pace for like Jerry Rice numbers with Jacoby Brissett.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, they were throwing the ball 40 times a game.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, they suck. They still suck.
SPEAKER_01Now you got Jeremiah Love. Like, I feel like that offense is gonna be different.
SPEAKER_03Oh, well, I mean, yeah, for sure it will be. I'm just saying.
SPEAKER_01I can see Marv having a look.
SPEAKER_03This is just this isn't this isn't me being like this is it's just a fact. Like bad teams throw the ball more because they're always losing. It's just a fact.
SPEAKER_01I fucking trade. I'm about to.
SPEAKER_03But yeah, I uh one last thing before we hop off here. Ben Johnson said that he would buy stock in Luther Burton. Does that make you feel any way?
SPEAKER_01I like I like Luther Burton. There's somebody I wanted on the Titans.
SPEAKER_03Did you see what I named my fantasy unit?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Martin Luther Burton Jr.
SPEAKER_02That's so hard. He has a dream.
SPEAKER_03He has a dream, brother. Just like me.
SPEAKER_01Look.
SPEAKER_03Just like me.
SPEAKER_01You you know that I'm a believer.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, you know, it's funny.
SPEAKER_01I have stock. I have stock by association in Luther Burton.
SPEAKER_03I uh I was actually not I wasn't that high on Luther Burden coming out. I just thought he could be real gadgety, but he proved me wrong. He he showed some real flashes last year.
SPEAKER_01How would you like to acquire a horse?
SPEAKER_03I uh I got a couple myself already. The Clydesdale's in the stable already.
SPEAKER_01How would you like to acquire the horse?
SPEAKER_03Bichon?
SPEAKER_01No.
SPEAKER_03Well, that's the only horse I'm interested in.
SPEAKER_01You're not interested in Josh Allen?
SPEAKER_03No. Not.
SPEAKER_01You don't want to trade Caleb Williams and Luther Byrne for Josh Allen?
SPEAKER_03Absolutely not. That's it for the pod. We're out after that. Y'all, y'all subscribe. Y'all share it to a friend. Tell a friend.
SPEAKER_01Hey, season's about to start cranking back up, man. Training camp's gonna be around the corner.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, we're in a real slow period. Hopefully, we get a couple more crash outs. I would like somebody to overtake James Pierce Jr. for crash avenues.
SPEAKER_01That's not gonna happen.
SPEAKER_03You don't think so?
SPEAKER_01It's gonna take murder.
SPEAKER_03Look, isn't it crazy that that Rasheed Rice Rasheed Rice is gonna spend more time in jail than James Pierce Jr. did? That's crazy.
SPEAKER_01It's also criminal.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it's true. It's true.
SPEAKER_00Man, smoking weed is worse than trying to hit someone with your car.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, well, he did way more than that, too. Talking. Yeah, resisting arrest. Oh, you saw the video. It's crazy.
